Seth had won his pay per view match against Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and Erick Rowan, but he was upset over the fact that his victory was short lived when The Viper, Randy Orton showed up to ruin his fun, and not only that, he ran away from him like a little bitch, he talked so much shit about how he would confront Randy once he returned to the ring, but when Randy finally made his triumphant return to the squared circle, he was literally afraid for his life, after all, this was the man whose career he almost ended when he curb stomped him into oblivion not too long ago, just like he did with his former so-called 'Business Partner' Dean Ambrose...
"What the hell am I doing?" Seth asked himself, trying to process what had just transpired
"What the fuck happened out there, Rollins?" roared a very angry Kane, with Big Show and J&J security behind him
"I, I had no idea he was coming back today, especially during Fast Lane, does Stephanie and Hunter know about this?" asked Seth
"No" answered Big Show "Hunter called me after the match, he wants to know what happened too, he had no idea that Randal was showing up tonight"
"I'm sure the fans are going to have a hell of a night calling me every name under the sun for running away from Randy"
"Come on, let's just go talk to Hunter and Stephanie" said Kane as he led Seth and the rest of the group towards Hunter's office
"No, I'll just go ahead and call it a night, I'm too exhausted to deal with Orton right now, you guys should go get some rest too" said Seth, running a shaky hand through his hair
"You sure, Rollins?" asked Big Show skeptically
"Yes, we'll deal with this tomorrow on Monday Night RAW"
"Alright, you have a good night Seth" said Kane as he led the others to the parking lot of the arena
Seth then took a deep breath then headed back to the locker room to grab his things when he heard a familiar voice
"Did you see that fucking sell out's face when he saw you running towards the ring?" laughed the familiar gravelly voice
Seth tried not to gasp in shock, it was Dean, who was holding the Intercontinental Championship belt he had stolen from Bad News Barrett, he quickly hid behind the wall next to him and kept on eavesdropping, trying to see who it was that Dean was speaking to
"I never thought I'd see the day that the so-called 'future' of the WWE would run off like a scared little girl, but you my man, made him run as if the devil himself was on his heels, I must say I'm impressed" added another familiar voice, this one was feminine and her tone was teasing, as if she was mocking Seth
"Well, I guess you can say I have that effect on people" Seth heard another voice say, this one came as a huge shock to him, that was Randy speaking to Dean, and from the feminine voice he heard, it was obvious that Dean's girlfriend Lucy was right there with them, laughing at Seth's misfortune
"I'll say Ambrose, you've got a female version of yourself right there, she's got a good pair for pulling this stunt, my hat's off to you" Randy praised, patting Dean on the shoulder
"What can I say, the woman's just as unstable as I am, I love that about her" said Dean proudly, giving Lucy a big kiss on the cheek
"Well" said Lucy "When you mess with my man, you bet your ass I'll get unstable"
To say that Seth was pissed was an understatement, he wanted to bash their heads in, but he knew he'd be going into it alone, he was so angry at how Dean, Randy and Lucy were all laughing at him, mocking him
He was so caught up in his own mind that he forgot to pay attention to the conversation going on in front of him
"Thanks again for tonight, Randy, I knew you were scheduled to return tomorrow, but I appreciate you helping us out by coming out tonight" said Lucy, her arms lovingly wrapped around Dean, who had a big smile on his face
"Don't worry about it, I've waited too long to get my hands on that rat bastard, I'm probably going to get hell from Stephanie and Hunter, but trust me when I say that whatever punishment they throw at me, it'll be so worth it just to have gotten the chance to get him, if only for a moment" stated Randy, his eyes giving off a crazed gleam
"I'm still surprised you actually agreed to help us out, it was good to make Seth think I had forgotten about him just because I'm feuding with Barrett, he should know better than to think I'm finished with him" said Dean, a wicked grin forming on his lips
"Come on, Ambrose" added a fourth voice, this one more deep and rough
"You should know better than to think that you and Orton are the only ones after that little two-toned jackass" Seth internally groaned, he should've known that Roman was involved with this as well
"I'll admit Lucy, I didn't think that you had such a sneaky little mind, but I am quite impressed"
praised Roman as he affectionately tousled Lucy's hair
"What I want to know is, how did Lucy convince you to help me out in this plan?"
"I know, I mean you came to me with the idea, and you know that I would've loved to help you out beat the shit out of Seth, but since I was the main event tonight, I couldn't help you out, so how was it that you asked Randy for help to get back at Rollins?"
'So it was all Lucy's idea, and Dean just helped out' Seth realized, he seriously wanted to bash his head against the wall he was hiding behind
"Well" said Lucy, a smile on her lips formed
"It actually came to me right after Seth curb stomped Randy, I watched the whole thing go down and thought how disgustingly smug Seth looked after he did that, so I went to Dean and told him about an idea that had come to me while I watched the paramedics tend to Randy, I told Dean that I wanted to help him and Orton get back at Rollins, I told Dean that I could convince Randy to help us get our revenge on Seth for what he had also done to Dean the night after Summer Slam without us having to get our hands dirty, Dean thought about it and surprisingly agreed for me to get in contact with him, so I waited a few days until I decided to ask Triple H for his number, luckily neither he nor Stephanie didn't bother to ask what I wanted Randy's personal number for, so they just gave it to me, the next day I called Randy and asked him if he wanted to help me get back at Seth Rollins" Lucy smiled as she told her story
"I had offered Randy cash if he agreed to help Dean and me, but he said no, that just being able to get his hands on Seth was payment enough, so I told Dean that Randy was in, after that, Dean and I kept in touch with Randy, keeping him updated on the happenings within the Authority and with Seth Rollins, and since no one knows Rollins better than me, Dean and you Roman, we told Randy all of his strengths and weaknesses, his defenses and his offenses, everything there is to know about Rollins we told Randy"
"And boy, was that information useful" added Randy as he also tousled Lucy's hair teasingly
"I told my girl can be downright evil when she wants to be" Dean replied proudly, pulling Lucy towards him, his arms wrapped around her waist
"Seth forgets that he wasn't the only architect of The Shield" Lucy simply answered
Seth watched on, a look of complete and utter shock in his features, he couldn't believe that Randy had formed an alliance with the same men he had helped destroy
"And since we're on the topic of Seth Rollins, guess what I was just told by the higher-ups?" Roman replied, his lips forming a devious smirk
"Ooh, do tell Mr. Reigns" said Lucy
"Don't just stand there big guy, spill it out" Dean piped up, excitement in his eyes
"Well, you all know how all those pictures of Seth's tiny dick and that new NXT Diva appeared all over social media over a week ago by his ex-fiancee?" Roman replied
Seth felt his heart drop to his feet, what did the higher-ups have in mind for him? He couldn't imagine getting told that he'd be jobbing to Dolph Ziggler again, of all people, and he already had an earful from an irate Vince McMahon, so what did they have in mind for him?
"Yeah, what about that? Asked Randy
"Well, it's kinda good news and bad news for you Randy, I'm sorry for what I'm about to tell you, I really am"
"What did they tell you, Reigns?"
"You're set to fight Rollins at WrestleMania, but you're scheduled to lose to him" Roman finally answered
Randy sighed, but nodded his head in understanding
"What's the good news then?" Randy asked again
"When I win the belt from Brock at the main event, Seth is also scheduled to cash in his briefcase, but because of the whole scandal of the leaked pictures, he will fail, you're going to cost him the opportunity to cash in"
Randy smiled widely
Seth was distraught, sure he was going to win against Randy on the grandest stage of them all, but he would also lose his opportunity to win the belt from Roman on the same night, all because he let his dick think for him and screw around with the new NXT Diva, Zahra Schreiber, when he knew damn well he had a beautiful and loving fiancee back home, he wanted to leave and just leave the four people in front of him to keep plotting against him, at this point he just didn't care anymore, he knew well that if he tried to talk to Hunter and Stephanie about convincing the higher-ups to lift his punishment that they would tell him no, the only person who could convince the higher-ups to lift the punishment was Vince, and he was already pissed off to the point he had wanted to fire Seth on the spot, but luckily Stephanie and Hunter managed to cool Vince's anger and only gave Seth a few match losses as punishment, and now with him losing his cash-in at WrestleMania, well he guessed the punishment was justly deserved
He looked over at the four people in front of him, two men he still considered brothers aligning themselves with the one man that had helped ruin the greatest faction in recent WWE History, and the woman who had helped them rise to the top, he truly felt worse than shit
"Randy look, we know that you're probably trying to get back in The Authority's good books just to get closer to Rollins, and we're okay with that, but we were hoping that this alliance between you and us can go beyond that, if you need us for anything, don't hesitate to let us know, we want you to consider joining us in reforming The Shield"
"Reforming The Shield?" asked Randy
"Yes" said Dean "We were told that we might reunite with Seth sometime during the spring, but at this point, we'd rather reform The Shield with just me, Lucy and Roman, but if we had you join us, not only could you help us destroy The Authority, but we can help you by giving you information on Rollins"
Randy looked over at Lucy, Dean and Roman, he saw the sincerity in Lucy's eyes as she spoke, and he knew that Roman and Dean liked the idea of having Randy as a friend and as an ally
"I'd like that Dean, thank you" said Randy as he outstretched his hand, and Lucy shook it, then he shook Roman's and Dean's hands as a form of agreement and respect
"It's time someone knocked that fucking sell out of his high horse" added Dean
"Don't worry guys, we'll all get our revenge on Seth sooner or later, The Authority will soon get tired of his uselessness and throw him out, and when that day arrives, we'll all be there to make sure he pays for his mistakes" Lucy replied, her small hands forming a fist in front of the men
"You can believe that, baby girl" said Roman as he joined his fist with Lucy's
"And you can believe in The Shield" Randy added, his own fist joining the others
"Welcome to The Shield" Dean said to Randy, his fist also joining in with the others
"I think I'll look good in black tactical gear" Randy mused, making the others laugh
"I finally get to be The Shield's First Lady again, I missed it" said Lucy, a small smile on her pouty lips
"Babe, you always did make me go crazy when you wore those black short shorts and that Shield shirt" Dean teased as he slapped his girlfriend lightly on the ass, making Lucy blush
"Okay guys, let's meet up here tomorrow bright and early so we can discuss strategy before we start taping RAW, deal?" asked Dean
"Yeah, but I might not stick around much, I have to make it believable that I'm no longer involved with Dean or Lucy" Roman remarked
"Don't worry Rome, we'll text you the info when we get a chance, you just focus on kicking Brock's ass at WrestleMania" said Dean, giving his brother a hug
"Alright, well we're done for tonight, Randy would you like to join us for some drinks at the hotel bar?" Lucy asked
"Sure, I'll meet up with you guys there in an hour, I still have to get my things"
"Okay, see ya in a bit then Orton"
When the group dispersed, Seth stayed where he was, thinking of how he was now a wanted man, sure he could use all the info he had overheard and tell The Authority what they had planned, but would it even matter? No matter how many times Seth would try to avoid Randy, or try to finish him off, that only made The Viper even more dangerous, especially since he now had the help of his former Shield brothers and sister
He took a deep sigh and released it, he knew that it was time for him to stop running and take his punishment like a man.
