The avatar was walking along the firebender, they were laughing and from far you could tell they were enjoying themselves.

"Who could have thought? You really can be funny, cool guy"

"That was insultive, I'm always this funny"

"No you are not" She said trying to contain the laughter.

Iroh stood watching them from afar. His blood started boiling through his veins with envy. He didn't want to be pushy or overprotecting. But it was her smile and her laughter. He wanted to be the one who could stole it so easily. They finally arrived near the general who stoically stood there, even if a sly smile did cross his lips. "Evening, Korra, welcome home" He said in a much tender tone, his eyes then flickering towards the other male.

"Iroh."

"Mako"

Their eyes were almost blazing. Mako's triumphant smile started to diminish as Iroh's hand found its way toward Korra's hip.

" I'll see you later, Korra. Take care"

"Yeah, good night, city boy" She responded, smirking as it was so usual on her.

She then felt the grip on her hip tighten even if slightly and turned to see him with a smile. His eyes though, were unmovable from Mako's effigy as if he was trying to make him go faster just with his gaze. Iroh wasn't someone to go out and make a big fuss about things, nor to engage in a fight. But it was pretty obvious seeing at his body that he didn't like him.

"Iroh?"

"Hm?" He then turned towards her, the fierce on his eyes vanished and was replaced for an almost melted gaze.

"What's wrong, sexypants?" She teased, her cerulean eyes reading him over.

"Nothing. Seems you were… Having a great time" His voice went off, hurt was trying to hide away but it was useless.

"Oh, Iroh. You are jealous!"

His body reacted as if he was going to deny it, but then it fell and nodded timidly. He had never felt that way. But Korra was just so amazing he still couldn't believe they were together. And Mako was a great person and a talented bender. He felt threatened.

"I'm so sorry about this, Korra"

She locked her glance on him as it softened. She didn't though he would admit it so easily and she for sure didn't understood why was he apologizing.

"Just why the hell are you apologizing Iroh?"

"I… I just felt insecure but I shouldn't. I trust you, I really do… I just… I don't know. I don't trust myself that much"

"Iroh, no. Look here, princey, you are great and we are together. I have no plans on changing that. Mako is just a friend. Don't doubt yourself"

He wrapped his arms around Korra's smaller body and pulled her close, his face hiding on her neck. "I love you Korra. You are the best"

"I know" She teased, laughing softly and then hugging him tightly as well. "I love you too, General… And you act really cute when you are jealous"

With that comment his cheeks burned in red and he pouted, Korra was the only one able to make her stutter, doubt and blush as if he was still a teenager.

"You are mean"

"Nah, I'm cute"

"Yes, you are the cutest"
