A/N: Please don't hate me on this. Someone sent me an idea involving Hotch and Seaver. This is by no means a shipping fic. This is a story on what happened after Supply and Demand and why Seaver left. If you don't like it, then please don't flame on me.

Why she left was different story. Seaver thought that the job was too much for her. Every day, when she sees a new body, it feels like she is getting taken apart. One by one. After Emily died, she started thinking that she didn't belong. Seaver thought that it was too much for her to take. JJ was back, but it felt wrong all of the sudden.

"I want to resign," she said in a calm voice. Hotch was impassive, but was surprised.

"Why so soon?" he asked, trying to get a sense of what she was saying.

"I feel like I don't belong."

"That's not a good enough answer." She thought of a different answer just in case.

"Here's another one; whenever I see those files, it just tears me apart. Yes, I lived with a serial killer for a father, but that's not the point. I feel like I'm not doing enough to help these people. I think transferring would be my best choice." Hotch still remained impassive, but he felt like he understood. It was the same with Gideon, but as least she had the decency to tell him up close and personal.

"Where are you going to transfer?" She already came up with one.

"Andi Swann's Domestic Trafficking Task Force. I think I'll make a better fit over there." She gave him her files and he looked through them.

"How long have you been thinking about this?"

"Ever since JJ came back." He didn't want to lose another one, but this somehow makes sense.

"Okay, you'll pick up your things tomorrow. Did you call Andi?"

"I did. She says she's happy to have me."

"Good, you'll have to fill out some paperwork tomorrow. But other than that, you should be transferred by then. It was good to have while it lasted." When he looked up, she was gone. Just like that. Just like Gideon.

She headed out the door and headed down the stairs. Seaver walked out, without a trace. She headed out the door, went to the elevator, and pressed the down button. Somehow it made sense. Some things don't really make sense, but this just did. She went home, knowing that things finally made sense.
