She wasn't sure if she wanted to hit him, or kiss him.

Possibly both.

Probably not at the same time.

He was asleep, in her bed, again, and while she'd mostly gotten used to it by now (despite having no idea how he did it), this time it was a little bit different.

She'd been happily, dreamlessly asleep, when she was woken by a mumbled "Luce… Don't leave…please…" and a warm arm draped around her waist. Yep, he was in bed with her, and actually, it was quite comfortable. Damn him.

Usually she'd come into the room, see him there, screech, and have a half-hearted go at kicking him out, before insisting he at least sleep on the sofa, or anywhere other than her bed. Semi-unfortunately though, she was rather trapped, by a cosy arm and a comfortingly warm body against her back, and if she was really honest, she didn't want him to move. Oh dear.

It didn't help her case that if she turned round just a bit, so that she could see his face, he just looked so peaceful, and contented. It took her all of ten seconds, lying there, to realise what that warm feeling in her chest was. She was so, incredibly dead. She loved him. Her teammate, the flame-brained, impulsive, excitable idiot that was Natsu Dragneel, and she had fallen head over heels in love with him. Oh well. That was a problem for a time when she wasn't so happy, so comfortable, and it wasn't the middle of the night when she was in bed with said idiot.

"Don't worry, I won't ever leave you" she whispered fondly, before pressing a gentle kiss to his temple (the only place she could reach), and laying back down. She didn't miss the smile that rose to his dreaming face before she fell back into contented unconsciousness.
