Chapter 2

"Oh so your the sister of amethyst" Alex asked "Yup I'm her sister why do you care so much vampire boy" Nina said Alex glared at Nina as he said "Why are you calling me a vampire" "because you are one aren't you" Nina said. "don't say that to him he hates being a vampire" Shawn says. I find my sister talking with Alex and Shawn Alex looked mad I asked "Nina what's going on". Nina answered "This guy is a vampire and he only talked to you for your power" I asked Alex "Is that true cause if it is I don't use my power anymore. So it was useless to talk to me if that was the reason". "yeah I guess it is useless then see you loser" Alex answered "So it was only for my power " I said with tears forming in my eyes Alex answered "yeah it was I have no use for you anymore" I smiled a sad smile " this is the reason I hate vampires because their pathetic" "PATHETIC HOW WOLVES ARE RETARDED ANIMALS WHO JUST WAG THEIR TAILS WHEN THEY GET FOOD" Alex shouted in anger. Shawn and Nina backed off cause they were scared that if they got involved they would get killed. "Do you want to know the reason why I won't use my power to turn you into a wolf" I said "why tell me why you won't use your pathetic wolf power" Alex asked "Because if you killed your mom and had this power would you be able to use this power" I answered about to cry. Shawn looked at Nina and said "is that really the reason" Nina answered "yeah she accidentally pulled my mom into a cave with your tribe leader in there and I guess he was after her and her power and my mom protected her and got killed by using too much energy she gave up on her self after that incident and she stopped using her power". "Nina let's go home I don't want to let a pathetic vampire see me cry" I said. As me and Nina were walking away from the two boys I felt a horrible pain in my lungs it felt like someone was drowning me deep below the ocean water and wouldn't let me out and take a deep breath I started to feel light headed and as I was falling to the ground I heard Nina's voice full of worry yelling my name.I felt someone catch me but my eye sight was blurry so I couldn't see who it was.

Alex's pov

"what just happened" I asked Nina answered with a face full of worry "YOU PUSHED HER TO HARD DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH SHE LOVED MY MOTHER THAN YOU JUST HAD TO MENTION HER POWER WHICH MADE HER MENTION MY IS SICK WHENEVER SHE GETS STRESSED SHE CAN'T BREATHE" Nina shouted in rage and her eyes started to go bright red. "I didn't know is that the reason she can't use her power because right know because she's sick" I asked "yeah that's why" Nina said.I'm so stupid why didn't I think of this earlier I never thought a wolf could get hurt or even sick because of her mother's death ughhh why did I say those things to her flashback

"tell me tell me why you won't use your pathetic wolf power" I asked

She answered " because if you killed your mother and had this power would you be able to use it"

End of flashback

Shawn's pov

"dude Alex we should start heading back to our tribe" I told Alex "yeah your probably right" Alex answered back. Nina howled and said to us "hurry up and leave my tribe is about to get here because I'm pretty sure they heard me howl and that was a howl of help to get my dad and my tribe over to help me get amethyst home".Both me and Alex started running as fast as we could and vanished into the dark tree shadows.
