The year, 1XXX, the age of giant robots, mobile suits, colonies in space… and dreaded technology. One of them was called the "Gundam" used back in the Universal Century. Though the fighting between the United Earth Union and the Scarlet Sun has subdued after the defeat of the Scarlet Moon's "Solar Ray" destroying 1/3 of the Matilda Knights, a part of the United Earth Union's territory, in the process however, but in the end, the Scarlet Moon pulled back, and it seemed peace was almost reached again….
On Earth, Highland Army territory, also part of the UEU
Although there was peace, a few bases still belong to the Scarlet Moon, and some were in the position of attacking nearby cities. One of them was the port city of Riverdu. The Highland had already placed several GM units, a few Anti MS weapons, and four new Guncannons, the Highland's fierce Sniper types, allowing the Guncannons to fire at a long range, however, the shoulder cannons were removed, but were allowed to be reattached. Visiting the city was a 19-year-old Highland MS pilot, Riou Genuki, and his friend Drake Gerna. Riou was finishing packing up, thinking of his mother and sister. His father raised him until he died in an MS battle 14 years ago. He looked at his silvered hair friend entered, still wearing his Highland uniform. "You can't sleep either?" His friend asked "No, can't wait for day to come, its been so long…" Riou shook his head, running his hand though his black hair in sadness "Guess we should sleep now?" Riou asked, taking off his ring on his left hand "Nah, need to recheck the team's MS… I don't understand why you have that ring, did it belong to your dad?" Riou shook his head "I found it in my home, don't know who owned it, but it looked cool then…" Suddenly, a siren burst from the air "The Scarlet Moon?" Riou nodded, putting back on his ring. "Lets go"
"All units, ready" Riou nodded "How many?" His operator, rechecked the computer "A few Zakus, and three marine units…" "Great, guess we have to take on them Zakus Riou" Riou nodded to his friend on the screen "MOVE OUT!"
