Antic 1: Jason, Leo and Piper

Crack! Boom! Bolts of lightning fly through the winter vacation lodge Jason and Piper had rented. Sizzle! Snap! Chandeliers fell to the floor with a shatter that could be heard all the way from the underworld. The cause? A single bat had made its way from the garage to the living room. Jason had never told anyone about his irrational fear of bats. He hated them mostly because bats were just a smidge too fast for his lightning.

"Jason? What's going on out there?" Piper yelled, still groggy from sleeping. Jason groaned, he did not like dealing with bats in the middle of the night. Jason continued to shoot bolts of lightning from the ceiling. The floor was hot and scorched, but Jason didn't really care. Leo could come by and fix the damages done with such ease.

"Umm… Just go back to sleep, Pipes. You don't need to worry." But that was a complete lie. Jason was very concerned that the bat might be rabid. And with no ambrosia nearby (That Jason so stupidly forgot), they were unprotected from the madness a bat may ensue. He used his powers some more once the bat came flying at him. Jason ducked rapidly.

Then Jason noticed something. Every time he used his powers, the bat fly away briefly. He figured that if he shot more bolts of lightning at the annoying thing, maybe Jason could get it to fly into a room. It would be trapped until Jason could get someone that could help.

After a few more minutes of struggling, Jason had a solid method going and the bat was soon headed to a door. Without thinking, he opened a new door and the bat flew it. After the panic was gone, a new chaos in his mind was unleashed.

That was the room Piper was sleeping in.

He tried to keep his worry under control. He did his best to type in the digits without his fingers shaking and his finger sliding off the buttons from the sweat on his palms. Jason extended his fingers to type out the digits to Leo, because his vacation home was neighboring Pipers and Jasons. The dial tone buzzed for a few seconds, and then a voice pierced his ears.

"Jason, my buddy!" Leo yelled. "What's up? Why the call so late in the-" Leo was cut off by Jasons impatience.

"Not now. Long story short, I sorta accidentally locked a bat in Piper's room… And yea. Help? Please?"

"My, my, I know you're desperate for Leo the Great's help. So hang on tight bro, I will be there!" The phone hung up. He knew his best friend would come through for him. Within a matter of minutes, a quick knock came from the door, and without waiting, Leo burst in. Jason led him to the room Piper was in. Leo slid through and a ruckus was heard. He heard a scream from Piper, a screech from the bat and what apparently was a "victory cry" from Leo. Then Leo came through with the world's hugest smile plastered on his face and a charred bat in hand.

"Look what I cooked up for a midnight treat!" Leo joked before making his leave and returning the night to a time of peace.
