A/N: I do not own Big Time Rush(:

Everything about her drove James Diamond crazy. She had no idea how much he wanted her. Lately, she was all he thought about. Whenever they sang a love song in the studio, she would pop into his head. Whenever the guys started talking about girls, there she was with her infamous smirk spread across her face. Whenever he fell asleep, she was there, too, in his dreams.

She didn't fall for his charm like the other girls did, either. He'd smile and say hi to her and she'd just ignore him. When they were both at the pool, he'd take his shirt off right in front of her and she'd start flirting with other guys. Nothing he tried ever worked. And frankly, it was starting to bug the hell out of him.

But the honest truth was, Vanessa Fox knew exactly what she was doing to James. She was doing it all on purpose. It was all part of her game. But lately, she was getting weaker and weaker. She almost gave in when he took his shirt off at the pool. She had to force herself to look away from his perfect body. Instead she turned to Kendall and started talking to him. She'd never met anyone as amazing as James. Everytime she saw him, she almost gave up the whole thing just to kiss him. But she couldn't. She wanted him to do something about it. She wanted him to the make the first move.

And that's what James was ready to do.

He couldn't take the games any longer. She was sitting on the other side of the pool reading Pop Tiger magazine, like she always was. He walked right up to her and sat down in the chair beside her. After a minute, he pulled the magazine out of her hands.

"Um, excuse me? What are you doing?" she asked trying to take it back. James threw the magazine into the pool. "What the hell?"

He just looked at her. She could tell he was angry. She smirked at him. "Is there a problem?"

"Yea, you," he replied looking straight into her eyes.

"And what have I done to you?" she asked innocently.

"You know exactly what you've been doing. You've been playing with me, Vanessa."

She didn't know what to say. James had figured out her plan. He didn't know why he didn't think of it earlier. He'd seen it happen to so many guys since he had gotten to California.

She felt ashamed of herself for doing it to James. But she thought it was the only way to get him. That's what her older sister had taught her to do. Although she probably wasn't the best person to be looking for love advice from since she was only 21 and already divorced.

"James, I'm sorry," she whispered. He didn't say anything. He just stared at the ground. "You probably hate me now."

He looked up at her. "I don't hate you, Vanessa."

"Why not? I'd hate me if I were you."

Then he did something that suprised her. He leaned forward and kissed her and she kissed him back. When he pulled away, she smiled an actual smile, not just a smirk. "I could never hate you. I hate what you were doing, but I don't hate you."

With that, he got up and walked away, leaving her completly speechless. For the first time ever, she got up and followed him. She was done with the games.
