So I finally tried writing a story for Percy Jackson.

BE AWARE: This may contain spoilers of House of Hades.

Please tell me if I made any mistakes so I can fix them (English is not my first language, that means I may get something wrong).

PERCY

"You know, I wouldn't mind a stop in Paris."

He and Annabeth were finally alone. The sun was just starting to rise behind some Greek hills. They hold hands as they were walking around the outskirts of Athens.

Apart from some minor damages in the town center, nothing was indicating there had been a battle here only yesterday. Percy still shuddered when he thought of Gaea. It seemed like her face could appear in the ground below any time, although it couldn't. She had been defeated and put to sleep hopefully forever.

Annabeth's laugh got him out of his deep thoughts. It still sounded not like her former self, but at least she was able to laugh again. "We can't stop," she reminded him. "We have to get back to camp as fast as possible. Reyna may have united Romans and Greeks for once, but it won't stay that way very long."

"I know." Percy sighed. He really didn't look forward to dealing with an angry Octavian soon.

Annabeth looked over to a park where their war ship, the Argo II, was floating. "We should get back," she said. "Leo said he would finish all the repairs tonight so we can depart tomorrow."

Percy was glad they could leave the ancient lands. Of course the buildings were impressive and there was this kind of old smell in the air, but he missed home a lot. He had seen some pictures of camp Halfblood in Leo's magical shields in the mess hall, and it didn't look good.

"There you are guys. I didn't expect you so soon." Leo was standing at the controls, typing something into the monitor and playing with the Archimedes' sphere.

Percy ignored the comment. "Are the others back already?" he asked.

Leo shook his head. "Jason is still in the lower deck. Piper is getting better, but he is still worried about her. Hazel and Frank should be back any minute."

"Did you get everything to work again?" Annabeth stood near the helm and studied the improvements Leo had made. "Do we really need those new shooting things?"

Leo rolled his eyes. "I didn't expect you to say something that stupid." He shook his head. "Percy, maybe, but not you."

"Hey!" Percy didn't like being called stupid.

"Don't go all mad, buddy. Just trying to make a joke. Yes, we need that stuff. We are still in the ancient lands; there could be dozens of monsters waiting for us on our way."

"As if we would need any more fighting," Annabeth muttered.

"I am finished with all the important things. The rest can be done once we're on our way. I only need a course now."

Percy and Annabeth exchanged a quick glance. "Camp Halfblood," Annabeth decided. "It's on our way. After that whoever wants to can continue towards Camp Jupiter."

Percy didn't like the thought that the seven of them would be going different ways from now on. He had gotten used to seeing them every day. However at least Frank and Hazel would probably go back to Camp Jupiter. He wasn't sure about Jason.

Nontheless it would never be the same again.

How did you like it? Please let me know :)
