"Stop standing there!" Rose Weasley whispered harshly. "You can't possibly be having any fun watching me read, can you?"
"Believe it or not Rose, you're actually quite an interesting study. Did you know that sometimes when you read your mouth opens slightly? Why, a bug could fly right in and you wouldn't even notice."
"Ha ha. Very funny Scorp. I do know such thing, now unless you plan on writing my essay for me, could you please leave?" Rose was getting fed up with the Slytherin slouching against the wall across from her, but when she saw he wasn't going to leave she let out a long sigh and went back to researching the effects that manticore poison had on the human body.
"Fine fine if you're going to be so boring then I suppose I'll go find Al. I shoulda known not to go to a Ravenclaw for a good time." Scorpius ran a hand through his white blonde hair shaking his head a little to feign disappointment. "Way to prove the stereotype wrong." He remarked sarcastically, before straightening up his bag and beginning to walk away.
"Hey! Not fair! You can't say that just because I actually care about my grades that I don't have any fun! I have plenty of fun, mind you." She shot back, color rising to her pale cheeks.
"Oh yeah? Ever skinny dipped in the black lake? Do you climb trees in the forbidden forest for fun? Or is little Weasley's idea of fun something like breaking curfew to finish a book or breaking into the restricted section of the library?" Scorpius raised one eyebrow, an act that further infuriated Rose.
"Fine. Be an arse. I'll show you how to have fun!" Rose hastily gathered up all of her quills and parchments before grabbing Scorpius' wrist. "Prepare yourself for an amazing adventure, Malfoy. Today is going to be a day you'll never forget."
And for some reason, with Rose's fingers interlocking with his absentmindedly, Scorpius already believed every word the hot headed ginger had said.
Hello! Thank you for reading, please let me know if you would like this continued or not. This is my first fanfic in a year or two, so I am a little rusty. This piece was mostly a warm-up one. Constructive criticism is welcome!
