Spring break, Bella, and ice cold kisses
I always wondered about my friend Bella. She is a good friend to me but sadly I liked her more than she liked me. She liked me as a friend, but I liked her as my girlfriend. She had long beautiful brown hair and big bright eyes. I could stare at her all day if I could. It was a typical day in the 6th grade rooms. Nothing but mayhem, irritated teachers and all the little 6th graders scurrying for each classroom at the bell. I had some of the same classes as Bella. We had L.A, science and specials together. I had accelerated math and she had on level sadly. We had just gotten out for spring break and Quill and Embry were excited to finally get a break from school. I glanced around and spotted kids jumping screaming, running to their busses, and walking home. Then I saw Bella the brown haired goddess walking up to me. I quickly scurried over to her.
"Hey Bella want to come over today." I said coolly
"Maybe I can if I ask my dad. See you then Jacob." She replied sweetly.
"Bye Bella." I waved
"WOAH! Jacob you sooooo got the hots for her." exclaimed Embry with Quill nodding in agreement. I just ignored them and ran home. Ran in the doors greeted everyone, and darted into my room slinging my backpack on the floor, and flopping on the bed. I was thinking about my week off, Bella, my best friends. Just then I heard my dad's deep voice muffled through the door yelling my name. I slowly walked over to him in the kitchen. I felt a great big bright grin crawling on my face when I saw Bella and her dad Charlie in the doorway. She ran over to me and smiled back. My dad leaned over and whispered something in Charlie's ear. As we left to go to my room I turned around and frowned at Charlie and my dad. Clearly knowing what they were talking about. Bella and I as a cute couple.
I could still here my dad and Charlie laughing, watching the game, drinking beers, and having a great time. I went into the fridge and grabbed two grape sodas. Instead of going to my room (which was a complete mess) we went outside meeting up with Quill and Embry.
"Bella this is Quill and Embry." I said nicely. "Guys this is Bella." I introduced.
There was a brief silence. Then I heard Bella's voice.
"Hey guys you want to toss a ball around." She said boldly. we all agreed. I went to an old football lying around and we threw it back and forth. The time passed and we got thirsty and drank our sodas. I had 10$ in my pocket so I would treat my friends to some ice-cream. We walked around the corner, purchased our ice-cream, and enjoyed our frozen treats near the pond. Bella's dad was coming to pick her up soon to go home and eat dinner. I and Bella were skipping rocks whilst the guys were chasing geese into the pond.
Beep beep. Bella's dad was here.
"Come on Bella time to go home say goodbye."
"Bye Jake, bye guys "said Bella as she planted a warm kiss on my cheek and ran to the car smiling to herself. I was star struck. I was so stunned I fell back into the cold pond water. Bella giggled and waved as her dad drove off. Soon as I got out the pond Quill and Embry taunted me by singing "Jakey has a girlfriend and her name is Bella."
But I didn't care for their taunts and yelled "BEST DAY EVER." Running home as fast as I could so happy that I could just explode. Soon as I got home my dad was waiting for me laughing at me covered in pond water with a big grin on my face. He had heard about the whole epidemic and I would never hear the end of it. I just trudged to my room changed my wet clothes and said goodnight to my friends out the window said goodnight to my dad and dreamt of Bella and I getting married. I knew one thing that I wanted to see Bella right away.
