Very short kinda-drabble. I'm not sure what inspired this, but I felt compelled to write it. I just decided to post it today. ...you guys know I don't own BIONICLE, right? I don't have enough money to be sued. Well, just read and let me know what you think.

Matau Hordika wandered through the deserted streets of Le-Metru with Iruini, trying his best to remain calm. Iruini had told him, how rage and despair would speed up the transformation, eventually making it impossible to ever become normal. 'Spend my life looking like a rahi-monster? Not if I can help it!' But still…looking at his Metru, he couldn't help but feel somber. This was his home. He had lived here, hung out with his best friends here…seeing it transforming into rubble was depressing, to say the least.

Iruini paused by a large building. "Matau, what's in here?" he asked. Why ask? Well, the fact that there were chains and locks sealing the door was enough to attract his attention. Matau looked at the building. He never recalled seeing that building before. Were they lost?

"I'm not certain-sure…let's quick-find out." He approached the door. The Visorak apparently had been interested too about the building: there were teeth marks and webbing. With a few swipes of his fang blades, the chains broke. The want of destruction rising, he slashed open a new door, destroying the old one in the process. Iruini shot him a look but said nothing as they both entered.

The room was amply lit with lightstones, and filled with tablets, some written on with carver's tools, others with torches. Matau picked one up, reading it aloud to himself. " 'Hukark was taken by Visorak yesterday. We mourn for our lost friend. He was a worthy Toa of Earth.' Huh, I think-wonder what bad-happened to him. 'Today was a terrible day. A monstrous beast approached us, and we fought it to defend ourselves. Most of our party was injured terribly. After gravely injuring Kira, Toa of Water, it became fearful and fled. I cannot explain why, but it reminded me of Hukark.' I'd speaksay that he became a Hordika-rahi."

"Amazing," Iruini breathed, "They seem to be records of every Toa." He picked up a tablet, reading it silently, and chuckled, "Even myself."

"Do you say-suppose I have one?" Matau asked, going through the tablets. One tablet caught his eye and he eagerly started reading it.

" 'I am Toa Lhikan, the last of my team. My brothers and sisters have been falling to the Dark Hunters in this terrible war. That is, all except Toa Nidhiki.'" Matau stopped in disbelief. Nidhiki, the Dark Hunter, was a Toa? Even Iruini seemed somewhat surprised.

"Give me just a few seconds," Iruini said, starting to go through the tablets. Quickly, he found the one he was looking for, reading it out loud.

"Toa Nidhiki, Toa of Air. Toa tool was a large scythe. Kanohi…" He squinted, trying to make out the faded letters. "It seems this tablet has been tampered with, Matau." Matau didn't even hear his words. Nidhiki was a Toa? A Toa of Air? Impossible! He skimmed through the rest of his tablet

'…betrayed us…joined the Dark Hunters…almost cost us…banished.' Matau then noted a small, more recent inscription near the bottom. 'I was almost amused when I saw my brother again, in the form of an insectoid beast. He had always been terrified of insects as a Toa.' Matau chuckled at the irony. And yet…

Hukark had fallen. Nidhiki had fallen. Two Toa, both apparently well liked and trusted, removed of their Toa status from just a few decisions. He had to wonder, how easy was it? To fall and never have to get back up? 'Being a Toa-Hero just got a lot more hard-complicated,' Matau thought with a sigh. This wasn't just a building.

It was a graveyard of Toa.
