If you walked into Queens High in New York City some of the first people you would have seen would have been Chloe Hale, Raven Lupe and Lolita Heart. No one would say they were normal but everyone would say they were beautiful. Chloe with her paler than the full moon skin and willowy build although she had curves in the right places. Her long, midnight black hair matched perfectly her flawless, porcelain skin, her piercing silver eyes, and her soft, deep red lips. Raven, small, short and petite - almost child-like, but also very sexy and alluring, for she had curves in the right places. Her short hair was neon blue, which matched her glittering amethyst almond-shaped eyes and Lolita, tall and slim, although she had curves in the right places. Her long and wavy platinum blonde hair cascaded from her bare, soft shoulders, following her perfect curves all the way down to her slender waist. Her eyes were like a pair of wonderful topaz, and her soft lips looked like they were made of pink rose petals.
Chloe sat on a bench, her ebony hair loose and blowing around her face. She wore a pair of hip hugging faded boot cut Sevens, a cute violet cashmere v-neck sweater and purple ankle boots. Raven wore black plaid pants, a green crop top and black leather combat boots. Lolita sported a pair with light wash jeans, blue sweater and metallic blue boots. They were talking about the algebra test when suddenly; a kid came up and started raging on Raven for her blue hair. Chloe jumped up and suddenly fire launched from her hand at the kid at the same time all the stuff lifted up and started flying towards the kid Raven screaming and then Lolita changing to a half human half cat…thing. The thoughts filing her mind and then her own screams, then all the people were chasing them as they ran towards the beginning of the forest.
Chloe winced. "Come on, Loli, Rae. We will make it" she said to her friends. They had only been running and walking for a couple of hours but it felt like ever.
"You're right", Raven said, "We WILL make it!"
"You guys! I think I see something!" Lolita yelled. They sped up and sure enough there it was: The Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters.
"We made it!" Raven and Lolita yelled. They hurried up to the front and Chloe banged on the door. A tall man with red glasses opened the door and they came in looking over their shoulders. A bald man in a wheelchair rolled to them. "It is okay, you are safe now" came a voice in their heads.
"I am Professor Xavier and this is my school" he said.
"I'm Chloe Hale, this is Raven Lupe and Lolita Heart" Chloe said. A tall black woman came up and said "I'm Ororo Munroe and I'll show you to your dorm". They nodded and followed her. When they arrived at the girls dorm Ororo turned to Chloe and said "This is your room".
Chloe walked in and saw a tall auburn haired girl wearing a blue jersey top, a pair of dark jeans and blue gloves. "Hi, I'm Marie but call me Rogue" she said in a heavy Mississippi accent.
"Chloe Hale" Chloe said as she shook Rogues hand.
"Nice to meet you, Come on, I'm going to introduce you to everybody." Rogue said. Chloe laughed and followed her. When they walked into the common room Chloe saw Raven talking to a slim Asian girl, Lolita and a quiet brunette. Rogue proceeded to drag her over that group. "This is Jubilee Lee", she said pointing to the Asian, "and the brunette is Kitty Pryde". Chloe introduced Lolita and Raven to Rogue and then she caught sight of a tall blond guy with spiky hair wearing a light blue t-shirt and jeans. "Who's that?" Chloe said.
"Bobby Drake", Rogue said, "My ex".
"So he's single?" Chloe asked.
"Yes." Rogue said. Chloe smiled to herself.
