Jack Skellington cradled the little doll in his lengthy arms. The lumping had woken up from his nap, while Jack and Sally were taking one too. Parenthood was a very tiring job, after all. They had been sleeping until Jack heard little coos and whines from the baby monitor, coming from the nursery. He quickly turned to his beloved, who was still sound asleep. He pecked her on the forehead and quietly got up, not wanting to make a sound.
Jack smiled when he saw little Darren (named after Jack's father.) He was a spitting image of Sally. Even at five months old, Darren already had lengthy blood red hair that came up at to his ends of his eyes. In result, Sally had to calm down the ragdoll baby and cut his hair, which just turned out to be bangs. But it just made him more adorable. He had dark grey eyes like his mother, too, but a cute little skeleton grin he inherited from his father. Daddy's little pumpkin prince.
Not after five minutes, tiny doll footprints made their way into the room. She joined her husband's side.
"We made a cute baby, you know." Jack commented. Sally smiled, taking little Darren into her arms. He was so tiny, even in her arms. He smiled and giggled, reaching out for his mom's hair. He loved her hair.
"Nooo…" Sally insisted, pulling back a little. But Darren climbed onto her, laying his head on her shoulders.
"He really loves his mother," Jack said, admiring the two.
"As I love him." She replied rocking her little doll to sleep again.
A/N: I know, this is extremely short. But it was something I wrote during theatre class. And of course a couple of my friends read it, and which the teacher saw, and read it too. And they all loved it:3 I actually thought about Jack and Sally's kid, which I'm definably sticking to the original thing. "Four or five skeleton children." They would seem like the type of couple to want a lot of children! And of course, I liked the idea of them having a kid that looked a lot like Sally, but a boy verison of her. Then, came Darren! He'll be the oldest. I'll have some fanfictions about them after I finish the ones I'm already writing, especially my current one, Resident. Reviews would be nice, please. Thank you:3
Disclaimer: I own nothing! Because if I did…well, let's not go there…;P
