Yesh it is me again ! Back with another Kibbs drabble ! I cant help it its like an addiction ! I just look through the quotes form the show on different websites, and the Leprechauns make me write things. Yay ! Yes I still have leprechauns in my head, and they keep dancing ! I love my lil leprechauns!

Anyways this is just another one of my takes on a conversation.

Abby and Gibbs were down in her lab talking about the current case, Kate was standing by the door, unnoticed by both Gibbs and Abby.

Gibbs:See if you can brand the cologne.


Abby: Why, you want some?

He smirked, and shook his head


Gibbs: Nope, don't use cologne. Women I date think the smell of sawdust is sexy.

Abby: Oooh does Gibbs have a girlfriend??

She looked excitedly at him, slightly child like.

Gibbs: Will do by the end of the day

Kate stood in the door, slightly devasted, because she had followed him down here to ask him out on a date tonight, she loved him, she has always loved him.

Abby: Come on spill the beans, who is it?

Gibbs: Not telling you

Kate left as Gibbs turned around, and realised she had heard what he had said, she seemed so upset, and the thought made him want to reach out and take her into his arms.

Abby; So, who is this mystery girl your going to ask out?

Gibbs: Kate

Abby: You should tell her, cause now she thinks you like someone else

Gibbs ran after Kate, diving into the elevator just before it closed. Kate looked down avoiding eye contact, then Gibbs hit the emergency stop button, causing the elevator to jerk slightly, adn the lights to dim. She looked up at him for a second slightly shocked, and prepared herself for more heartache.

Gibbs: You busy tonight?

Kate: Thought youd be too busy with your new girlfriend

Gibbs: What new girlfriend?

He looked confused, but then realised that she had indeed heard every word he had said to Abby.

Kate: The one youll have by the end of the day

She felt jealous, but she refused to let it show, although by the way she was speaking it was obvious, even to Gibbs. Which made him smirk

Gibbs: Oh her

Kate: Yes her

Gibbs: Well I havent asked her yet

Kate: You gonna?

Gibbs: Yep

Kate: Why do you want to come out with me tonight if your asking her?

Gibbs ignored her question and instead asked one of his own

Gibbs: Are you jealous?

Kate: Why would I be jealous?

Gibbs: Maybe you like me

Kate: You know what your a bastard

Gibbs: Yeah, I know you told me before, but right now Im trying to ask you out, so it would be nice not to be called a bastard whilst I do it

Kate: What do you mean ask me out? What about that woman you were talking about?

Gibbs: I was talking about you

She threw herself into his arms, kissing him passionately and pushing him against the wall of the elevator, and wihtout realising the elevator started to move again, and as the doors opened, McGee and DiNozzo were about to step inside but instead stood shocked, catching flies, at the sight of their boss, adn co-worker, making out in the elevator, not knowing they had an audience.
