So while everyone is eagerly awaiting for 'Safe' to update (or at least I hope so! xD) here is a small drabble to keep you going until then :)
For Everyone's Souls
At the exact same time, but in completely different universes, two teenagers who shared the eerily similiar names raised their Evokers to point at their temples. As both universes begun to intertwine, as Yukari battled for what could be her last breath, as Akihiko helped Mitsuru back onto her feet, the sound of the two guns being fired at almost a scary precise moment in time broke the silence induced by the bringer of the Fallen, Nyx.
The deity of Death herself (or himself) watched as what felt like the time and space continuum was ripped to shreads, two Saviors standing nearly side-by-side as they were both ready to face Nyx and seal her away for the good of the worlds. Indeed, as the two Wild Cards - who had no way of meeting in this lifetime due to one simple difference - grew crazed looks on their faces, the silence was unbearable as Nyx was forced into defending herself against a duo that should have never existed. A duo that broke whatever fragile feeling of sense these poor worlds held. All of which was an act by the leaders of the NAT, people who were as different as oil and water and who had other social bonds which all led to the same result. As the given party members watched in stunned silence as their respective leaders acted, Minato and Minako spoke at the same time.
"Per-so-na."
Several years down the line, Mitsuru, Akihiko, Yukari and the remaining former members of SEES/NAT were remembering what happened during the battle with Nyx, every time the anniversary of his... hers... death came around. Having two incomplete yet complete sets of memories was a difficult thing to accept, to even understand. But as they watched the new generation of Persona-users take up where they left off - no, where they were still fighting - they felt like they could. As the leaders, now one, would have wanted it to be.
... I am thou, thou art I ...
... from the sea of thy soul, I come ...
