He fell on the couch. He was covered in black. His long bronze/gold hair lay on each side of his face adorning his beautiful frame. His big Mediterranean eyes fixed on the ceiling. His heart beat severely in his chest. He was tired. He thought he was going insane.
He stood in front of the wide window. He was covered in white. His short golden hair crowned his head giving him a royal posture. His uneven eyes of green and grey settled on the view before him. His heart beat fast against his rib cage. He was tired. He knew he was insane.
Distant voices. Something was amiss he was almost sure. Something hurt. Was it his heart? It kept beating fast. What do I want? The question kept on swirling in his mind.
Distant lights. Something was wrong he was sure of it. Something hurt. He knew it was his heart it kept beating fast. What do I need? The question dug holes in his skull.
Tears fell from his beautiful eyes. He wanted to get away from everything. He wanted to fly far far away to start again. He wanted to breathe. He wanted Safety.
A tear fell from his uneven eyes. He wanted to leave everything. He wanted to run far far away to have a new beginning. He wanted to feel alive. He wanted Freedom.
Realization struck them. They were lonely. They needed to feel loved, cherished, cared for by another person. The other half of their soul was somewhere on this earth. They both knew it.
He opened the door and ran. He ran and ran and ran for what seemed like hours until he stopped at a river. No one was there but the full moon in the sky which was reflected on the water's surface. He sat down and waited. Waited for what? He didn't know.
He went out in his car and drove for a while until he reached a quiet river. He walked out thinking he was alone but his uneven eyes settled on the silhouette of someone sitting on the side of the river. His heart beat faster as he approached the person. Why? He didn't know.
He sensed a movement. He looked up. Their eyes locked. The person sat next to him in complete silence only the sound of water breaking into the night.
The blond thought he had found an angel from Heaven. His eyes still locked with the other. He noticed a deep sorrow in those tow blue pools of heaven.
The blue eyed thought he had found a hero from a myth. His eyes still locked with the other. He noticed the millions of secrets in those uneven eyes.
A feeling of warmth invaded his heart as he drowned deeper in the blue gems. He found his equal in the exotic creature before him.
A feeling of peace nested inside of him as he got caged in the green and grey slots. He found his home in the mythical hero in front of him.
The blond leaned closer. Their lips met. Their souls united, completed in the simple kiss.
One found his safety the other his freedom. That's how the modern myth begun.
The myth of Alexander and Hephaistion.
