Hey guys, Crazyman here. And here is another story for ya.
To be perfectly honest with you, I got this idea when I was taking a shower (The magical room of inspiration). So you better know that I worked 'extremely hard' on making the idea of this story. Do you even know how many hours I spent on making this!? It took me like three years to create this stupid story!
...Maybe that's too much of an exaggeration.
Okay for real, I need something to clarify to you guys before starting. This is an AU (Alternate Universe). And an AU is something where you take a show and use it to showcase a story (or artwork) that has a different reality than what the original shows. Note that the AU might not follow the canon story, and that's why I'm here. My story is heavily reliant on my imagination, not the show's episodes. I will be using the show from time to time, but not like every chapter is an episode from SVTFOE.
Oh yeah, most characters are extremely OOC (Out of Character) here.
But anyways, I hope you enjoy reading the story.

Story Title: The Girl In The Corner (AU)
Genre: Adventure/Romance
Rating: T
Summary: "Who is she?" A certain blue hoodie wearing boy asked. Who was that girl in the corner of the class? She looked smart, and she was kinda pretty...Maybe a little bit shy. She seems reserved and somewhat of an introvert. But why is she alone? Is she that unnoticeable that she blends into the background? "I have to know."
The Girl In The Corner
*RING RING* *RING RING* *RING RING*
"Shut up you stupid clock!" A boy from his bed shouted; annoyed.
In the somewhat strange town of Echo Creek, lies a hoodie loving boy in its den. Who is this boy you might ask? It is none other than our Marco Diaz. Having a reputation of being extremely sarcastic and confident, he had a many records of causing trouble and going to the principal's office. Although he had records like these implanted on his head, it didn't stop him from being a social butterfly. But enough of that, let's now see our beautiful boy in action for now.
The alarm kept blaring over and over until Marco finally cared enough to shut it five minutes later. He wasn't much of a heavy sleeper, hence he couldn't go back to sleep whenever he woke up. With an annoyed yawn, Marco rose up from his bed and scratched his eyes. He then stood up and stared down the alarm clock.
"Stupid alarm clock, always trying to wake me up." He muttered. His annoyance turned into shock as he saw what time it was. "9:40!? I slept like eight in the evening! How did I wake up with only having twenty minutes left to get to school?!"
Nevertheless, Marco quickly got prepared for school. He ran to the bathroom and looked at the mirror. His hair was practically everywhere, his eyes were still red from waking up, and overall, he looked like a complete mess! "Oh, guess I already have my signature look." Marco quickly got his toothbrush and some toothpaste. He opened the cap and squeezed the contents into his mouth. When he thought that his cheeks was filled with toothpaste, he then took his brush and aggressively started to brush the insides of his mouth. Two minutes passed before Marco spit everything out. He looked at his teeth which was fresh, but not really clean. "Meh. This'll last for another week."
Marco ran back to his room and went to his closet. He opened his closet to reveal multiple pairs of same-colored blue hoodies and a couple of T-shirts. He grabbed one of his signature blue hoodies and a black T-shirt. Once he had done that, he then went to one of his drawers. He opened it to see a perfume bottle inside. He grabbed the bottle and started getting dressed. He took off his previous shirt before putting on the black T-shirt and the hoodie on. Then, he got the perfume bottle and sprayed a lot of it on his body. While doing this, Marco looked at the clock to see it was already 9:55 in the morning. "Oh come on! I don't want to be late this time. Skeeves told me he's gonna put me in detention for the fifteenth time if I'm late today."
Marco placed the bottle back into the drawer before he ran downstairs. As he ran, he found his mother cooking and his father reading the newspaper in the living room. He looked at them before opening the door. His parents must've noticed him leaving, since his mother talked to him. "Late for school again, Marco?" She asked from the kitchen; not really surprised. "What about your breakfast?"
"Sorry mom! Can't eat it now!" He shouted back. "Just save my breakfast for dinner, okay? Bye!"
"Marco wai-"
*SLAM*
"Welp, there he goes." His father said.
XxXxX
"There is no way I'm late this time." Marco huffed. "If I am, then Life can go fuck itself.
After running the entire way to school, Marco was already tired before the day started. Panting like a thirsty dog, he slowly went to the classroom door. Even though he didn't have a watch on his wrist to check the time, he was sure on his instincts that he made it on time.
If he didn't, detention, is it Marco you're looking for?
As soon as our blue hoodie wearing boy entered the classroom, the bell rang. Which meant he made it on time, which means no detention. He punched the air in victory with a big grin on his face. "Hah! The bell just rang! Which means I'm-"
"Twenty-five minutes late." A large woman growled from her desk. "Which means detention for tardiness."
Meet Miss Skullnick. The teacher of our beloved Marco Diaz and the one responsible for sending him to detention at all times.
Fucking bitch.
There's not much to say about her except for the fact that she really, and I mean REALLY needed to lose a lot of weight.
"Oh come on Skullsie." Marco whined, irritating his teacher. "It's not my fault I live like, ten blocks away from here."
"It's not my fault that you never make it to school on time either!" She argued back. "Now-"
"-sit in the front before I add another hour to your detention.'" Marco interrupted. "Yeah yeah, just like usual Skullsie."
Marco slowly walked to his seat in the front, purposely hitting everything that comes in his way. Once he made it to his seat, he then slouched and yawned loudly. "Let's get this done with." He then proceeded to stay silent as he listened to Miss Skullnick talk about her latest date.
Ten minutes has passed, and Marco was getting pretty bored as of now. He still had about seven hours in school left, but he already wanted to go home this instance. He actually wished he could've slept in his bed and told his parents that he was on the verge of dying. Oh how he would gladly take that instead of spending seven hours in school. Wanting to cure his 'boredom syndrome', he looked around the class hoping to see something of interest. He saw multiple friends as he looked for something interesting.
Let's summarize who Marco saw one by one. There was Ferguson, he's somewhat smart (if food is the topic of tbe conversation) , a really heavy hitter, and a bit chubby. Hew wore a green coat that makes him look a little bit thinner and some cargo shorts.
Next to Ferguson was Alfonzo, he can be really cool, can be extremely quick, and not that much of a nerd to be honest. He wore a simple black and white striped T-shirt and jeans.
Next in line was Janna, she's rather weird, potentially crazy, and...overprotective? Marco doesn't know, all he knows that whenever he was with another girl, Janna will be there at all times. She always wore her red shirt with a white heart in the middle and skinny jeans.
Second to last was Jackie, she's a bit of a jerk to be honest, she always called him names, and she was pretty much Marco's enemy to be say at least. Marco didn't know why, but he thinks that she hated him for some dumb thing he might've done to her. She was wearing the usual, a jacket that was unzipped and had a grey undershirt, and short shorts.
Lastly, there's...wait. "Who the hell is that?!"
Somewhere in the corner of the room, sat a strange blonde girl there. She had a simple black T-shirt on and wore black slacks. Her hair was tied up into a ponytail and she had earrings on. Lastly, she was wearing glasses and was reading some sort of book. Marco guessed what the book was and came to two conclusions: The first one is that she's reading something educational; like a math book or one of those history books Marco always found frustrating to read. Given that her appearance screams 'NERD!', it wouldn't be much of a surprise. The second conclusion is that she's reading one of those lovey-dovey romance books that girls read, the one where they think it a prince charming would come to their rescue one day, but never do.
The blonde girl held the book in a position where the cover can't be seen. With a smirk on his face, Marco tapped Ferguson(who was sitting beside him) on the shoulder; getting his attention. "Hey Ferguson." He whispered.
"What is it?" Ferguson stared at Marco. Marco then pointed his finger towards the blonde girl in the corner, signaling that Ferguson should look to where he pointed. Ferguson understood the signal and was shocked when he saw the blonde girl. With a whisper, Ferguson then said to Marco, "Who the hell is that?!"
"What I'm saying." Marco agreed with the boy. "Think you know her?"
"Not really." Ferguson whispered back. "First time I ever saw that girl."
"Oh, okay." He replied, slightly disappointed. "Hey. I have a bet for ya."
"What?" Marco then signaled Ferguson to look at the book the girl was reading. "Let me guess, you want to bet if she's reading a educational book or one of those 'hopeless romantically involved girl' books."
"Right on the money." Marco smirked at the boy. "Speaking of money..."
"Ten bucks to see her reading a educational book." Ferguson bet with a challenging look.
"Fifteen bucks to see her on of those lovey-dovey stuff girls like to read." Marco raised, bringing the heat up. "Since we can't see, let's have Alfonzo decided. He's the only one who can see the book."
"Deal."
Marco then got his notebook and ripped off a page. He then wrote the details of the conversation he just had with Ferguson and told him about their bet. Once Marco was finished, he crumpled the paper into a ball and threw it to Alfonzo(who was father away from the two boys). The ball hit Alfonzo and got his attention. Alfonzo then read the note before looking at the blonde girl and seeing the book she read. After that, Alfonzo then wrote on the paper and threw it back to Marco and Ferguson.
Marco grabbed the paper ball from midair and held it in his hands. "This is it, moment of truth."
"I'm so gonna win." Ferguson smugly told him.
"Win my ass." Marco retorted. "I'm gonna get one right now."
"Then let us see..." Ferguson started.
"...Who's the winner..." Marco continued.
"Of the bet!" Both boys said in unison.
With that in mind, Marco then opened the note. "I...I can't believe it..."
"Who won?"
"Me ya dimwit!" Marco loudly told him. So loud that the entire class heard him. "Hand me over my prize, loser!"
Looking rather angry, Ferguson fished fifteen bucks from his pocket and gave it to Marco; who had the biggest grin in the room. "One day, I'll get you back..." He grumbled.
"Alright! Fifteen bucks!" He then stuck out his tongue to Ferguson. "This is what happens when you bet against me, dude."
"Oh really?" Miss Skullnick interrupted Marco's victory celebration. She made the boy freeze in cold fear. "And this is what happens when you interrupt me when I'm discussing something. Go get your prize. TWO EXTRA HOURS DETENTION!"
"..." Marco's eye twitched when he heard Miss Skullnick's outburst.

"OH COME ON!"
Well, I think we're done for now.
I know the chapter isn't as long like the recent chapters of 'Brothers and Sisters' or even 'One More Shot's last chapter. But I kinda wanted to preview the story a bit, you know. Just to see if you guys would enjoy it or not. So that's why I cut the chapter short, so I could test if you want this story to continue or not. Another thing, please do tell me if you like the AU or not. To be honest, the AU is my own original idea. If you do see an AU similar to mine, please tell me so I could check on how that person did the AU.
Reviews are love. It can actually motivate me to do more chapters. It could be a compliment, complaint, suggestion, or even criticism. Thanks for reading the chapter.
And I will see you in the next one.
Crazyman out.
