So just to clarify I am not a good writer or even a decent one. I just did this to stop myself from exploooding at everything I think (and hope) will happen in vardasea. Sorry if you don't like it but I hope you do :)

As as soon as she stepped through the doorway she could see it. Draekons flying all through the sky. Confusion and hope flooded Alex. Alex and Kaiden had just stepped through to the ancient land of Tia Auras. She called to Xira in her mind hoping that she would hear the wonderful voice of her bonded draekon.

'XIRA?!'

'ALEX?!', came his confused and startled reply. 'What the hell are you doing here' he screamed in her mind. 'Forget that, where are you!'

She heard kaiden marvel at all that was Tia Auras and so supposed 'extinct' draekons. 'I don't know' she said to Xira before saying out loud to Kaiden, "Xira's here! He's alive!"

"What?! Where is he" replied Kaiden.

Before Alex could reply she heard a thump and turned to see the familiar black draekon in from of her.

"XIRA", she all but screamed as she ran to wrap her arms around the friendly draekon, although he had grown a lot since Alex had seen him all that time ago.

"Alex what are you doing here?! What are you both doing here" he said after noticing Kaiden, who was staring in shock at the ginormous beast.

"Aven has taken control of Meya. He killed king Astoph and has put Roka in a sleep like death. Athora sent us to rally the Tia Aurans against Aven".

"Alex. Calm down and tell me everything"

Alex sat down next to Kaiden and with a asuring grin from him, started from the start and told Xira everything that had happened Apon her return to the present to the battle at Graevale and up to her and Kaiden waking into Tia Auras. When she was done Xira was silent for a while before saying,

"Thank god you alive".

"What are you talking about me being alive for. What happened at the attack on Draekora?!", Alex questioned.

"A little while after you left, Aven attacked with his garseth and slaughtered many of my race". His face turned solemn as he added, "Including my mother".

Alex looked at him with sad eyes and said, "I heard. I'm so sorry Xira".

"It's okay. I leaded the remainding draekons away where we met with Aes Daega. She then opened up a doorway to Tia Aurus and we have been living here peacefully for the past few Millenia. I was so worried about you Alex. I thought I'd never see you again".

"Same. I'm so glad your okay. Does that mean your the leader of the draekons now?".

"Yes but forget about my boring life. How rude of you Alex taking all this time before introducing me to your friend". Xira sent her a look and a sly grin and it made Alex smile at the familiar expression.

"This is Kaiden. He's come to help me rally the Tia Aurans."

"Nice to meet you Xira. Iv heard lots about you." Kaiden said politely.

"Nice to meet you too. Thank you for protecting her all these years", Xira replied.

"The pleasure was mine", Kaiden said as he tightened his hold around Alex's waist.

"Well back to business. I'll take you to the leader of the Tia Aurans. We don't want you wearing that ring for to long Alex. Good luck with them".

"Okay. Thanks Xira".

"Here, climb on", Xira said holding out his wing for them to climb.

Kaiden climbed on first and helped Alex up after. She wrapped her arms around his waist and he turned around with a grin and said,

"You ready?"

"As ready as I'll ever be", she replied.

"Are we good for take off?", Xira asked.

"Lets go", Alex said.

she rested he head on Kaidens shoulder and watched as they flew high in the sky. And for a moment, Alex forgot about everything.
