Samey-yu
This sad tale dates
far back in time;
to a small island,
covered in brine.
The people were wary
of anyone new;
t'was for good reason,
and ol' Samey-yu.
The times were perilous
and darkest for were;
times of no trust which,
no one dare.
There was a dark evil in
yon forests of nigh;
an evil so hidden,
t'was thought a lie.
No spirit abested
no man to live;
we all their slaves,
if ventured in.
Go on! Be lost!
The warning lies;
t'is up to you
who dare defy.
We'll not come looking
for any poor who
chance to venture yon
forest of Samey-yu.
