"I bet I'm hotter than you," Alec said conversationally.
"Psh, no you're not!" Jace replied.
"Here we go again," Simon sighed.
"Well let's see what Magnus has to say about that!" Alec said.
"I think you're sexy, Alec!" Magnus beamed.
"It doesn't count. Of course Magnus will tell you you're hot; he's dating you," Jace pointed out.
"Good point," Magnus replied thoughtfully.
"Well, who should we ask then?"
"The vampire," Jace replied.
"Why do you have to involve me in everything?" Simon asked.
"Cmon, vampire, just tell me which one of us you think is hotter," Jace smirked.
"But, I'm not gay," Simon explained.
"Well, figuratively speaking, if you were gay, and you were single, which of us would you pick?" Alec replied.
Simon sighed, "Fine. I'd pick Alec, no questions asked." then he walked out the door of the Institute, leaving a very flabbergasted Jace gaping at the door.
"Umm, ok then?" Alec said, feeling mildly freaked out.
"But..I'm blonde!" Jace said.
Magnus rolled his eyes, "And Alec wins. Pay up."
"Wait, you guys made a bet?"
Jace shoved a twenty dollar bill into Magnus's hand. "Get yourself something glittery."
"Yup! I bet that Simon would think you were hotter than Jace. Golden boy here didn't agree. Oh well, I won twenty bucks!" Magnus squealed excitedly, "I can finally get those new high-heeled cowboy boots I wanted!"
Alec rolled his eyes, "That my warlock," he said with a smile, then leaned in to kiss Magnus.
