Here It Is! Buzz Lightyear's Story. How he started out as a toy and his POV on all three Toy Story Movies and TOONS and the Halloween Special.
Chapter 1
September 8th 1986
Greetings! My Name is Buzz Lightyear. I am a space ranger action figure, with a purple cap thing, a clear helmet (that can be opened or closed with two purple buttons by my neck), a green, white, and purple spacesuit, blue, green and red oval speech buttons on my chest, a big red circle button on my chest, a blue space ranger sticker on my chest, a yellow LIGHTYEAR sticker on my chest, a little red circle button on my arm, a LASER sticker near it, a blue sticker on my other arm, and blue eyes and this is my life story. When I first started as a toy, I didn't know I was a toy, I thought I was a real live space ranger on a mission to protect the universal from my arch-enemy, the Evil Emperor Zurg. In fact, I think I remember the building my maker had me. I didn't know what I was, Who I was or Where I was. I remember walking around a big room. My helmet was open.
"Where Am I?" I said to myself "WHO Am I?"
"Hello!" I called out 'Is anyone there?"
I walked a hall and saw a giant.
"Hello." I said "Can you help me out?"
"Aaaaaaah! You're alive!" said the giant. And He kicked away with his foot and I blacked out. When I awoke, I got to be my feet. I looked and saw a man in a suit kind of like mine.
"Excuse me?" I said
"Who goes there?!" he boomed, turning around to face me. He had a mustache on his face, a golden bar on his chest and a peg leg.
"Please forgive me for disturbing you sir, but I need some help." I said "I don't know who I am or where I am."
"You may not know who you are, but I do." he said
"Really?" I said "Well who am I? And Who are you?"
"I am Commander Nebula. The head of the U.P.U." he said
"The what?" I asked
"The Universe Protection Unit.". And I know who you are."
"Really? What's that?" I asked
"It is an intergalactic space organization that upholds law, order, truth, justice across the universe." said Commander Nebula
"So do you know who I am." I asked
"Why, Yes. I do." Commander Nebula replied
"Really?" I said
"Your name is Buzz Lightyear." said Commander Nebula "And You are a space ranger who has just joined Universe Protection Unit."
"So this is who I am. I'm Buzz Lightyear, A Space Ranger working for the Universe Protection Unit." I said
"Some of your fellow space rangers, prefer to call it Star Command." said Commander Nebula
"Fellow Space Rangers?" I said
"Yes. What? You thought you were the only one?" said Commander Nebula "There dozen of Space Rangers like out there, defending the galaxy against evil aliens. They all here in Star Command which is located in the gamma quadrant of Sector 4. Star Command sends it's Space Rangers Corps, both elite and otherwise, all across the universe to battle evil aliens of all kinds. And you are going to be one of them."
"I am? All right! That sounds incredible." I said
"Not so fast, Lightyear. You can't go defending the galaxy just yet. First you must be trained. Right you are wearing an official Star Command approved space suit equipped with state of the gadgets that will allow you to defeat your enemies. Press any one of the oval shapes buttons on your chest to activate your multi-phrase voice simulator."
"Okay." I said. I pressed the red oval button and suddenly a voice that sounded like me went 'There's a secret mission in uncharted space!"
"Wow! Was that me? How did I do that? I didn't even move my lips." I said "I am impressed."
"Now press the red circle on your arm to activated your Pulsating laser!" said Commander Nebula
I pressed the red circle on my arm and a red light shot out of my wrist.
"Cool! I've got a laser!" I said
"Now press the big red circle button on your chest to activate your high pressure space wings!" said Commander Nebula
I pressed the red circle on my chest and two purple wings with a red and white stripe pattern shot out of my back. The little tips on the end were blinking lights. One blinked Green. The other blinked Red. They blinked in a pattern.
"Wings! I can fly? I am going to be one great hero!" I said "I'm going to find something to fly off of."
"Easy, Lightyear! Don't hurt yourself!" said Commander Nebula, grabbing my arm. "We'll work on your flight later." He pressed my wings and my wings went back inside the jet pack.
"Okay." I said.
"You also have karate-chop action." He said, going to my back, suddenly my laser arm made a karate chop move. "Your green trim glows in the dark and your other arm has a Locking wrist communicator"
He opened up a slot on my other wrist. There are a gray device in there.
"This is your Star Command Communicator. It tells you where you are and the air level of the planet you're on." said Commander Nebula. "Which reminds me."
He pressed one of the purple buttons near my neck. A clear helmet closed over my head.
"Your official Space Ranger Helmet. You can open and close with the purple buttons on your spacesuit. You must keep your helmet goes at all times whenever you're on a uncharted planet and only open it if you are 100% positive that the air on that planet is breathable or your eyeballs will be sucked from their sockets." said Commander Nebula
"Will do." I said
"The air is fine. You can open your helmet." said Commander Nebula
I opened it
"Are you ready to join Star Command?" said Commander Nebula
"Yes. I am." I said, smiling
"Then let the training begin!" said Commander Nebula
It was official. I was going to be a hero.
