It had been a couple of months after Naveen and Tiana's wedding when they finally got to open Tiana's restaurant. The place was beautiful, dim lighting, silky, white table clothes, candles glowing on each table , the sound of a live New Orleans jazz band playing in the background, and the slight chatter of ladies and gentlemen conversatin' throughout the room. It was a happy place and everything Tiana had ever dreamed of. As she sat back and watched as guest happily came in, and even more happily left, she couldn't help but think to herself all that had happened in the past year. I mean all she had ever wanted was to own her own restaurant and now she had that and was a princess thanks to the beautiful man standing next to her. For the first time in her life Tiana hadn't a thing to worry about, or so she thought. Suddenly, things starting going wrong when she looked over and noticed her newest employee, Ta'Nisha, yelling and threatening a customer. Tiana ran over to see what the commotion was. Ta'Nisha told Tiana the customer had thrown wine all over her and was threatening not to pay for his meal. The customer then explains how his food had not been cooked all the way and asked for a different steak and that's when his waitress had started yelling. Although the stories sounded a bit fishy, Tiana politely offered to get the man a new steak, fully cooked to his liking, and no charge for his meal. Later that night Tiana warned Ta'Nisha that if there were anymore outburst like the one they had had earlier she would be fired. Infuriated Ta'Nisha revealed her true self, she was the Shadow man's sister and had come back to steal Tiana's crown and her soul to take back to the devil so the Shadow man could come back. Tiana was terrified, so she ran to tell her good friend Louis the Alligator. He assured Tiana he would take care of everything and she would go back to having nothing to worry her pretty little head about.
