Crazy For This Girl

Disclaimer: I don't own DBZ or any of the characters. I don't own this song, either.

She rolls the window down

And she

Talks over the sound

Of the cars that pass us by

And I don't know why

But she's changed my mind

Trunks looked over at her as she casually rolled the window down. She caught his glance and smiled. He could do no more than smile back.

I can't believe what a great day this turned out to be! Can you believe the weatherman-predicted rain?! She said over the sound of the cars.

Would you look at her

She looks at me

Trunks put his eyes back on the road; this was no time to think about her! But he couldn't help it. Even as he looked at the road, he looked at her through the corner of his eye.

She's got me thinking about her constantly

But she don't know how I feel

And she carries on without a doubt

I wonder if she's figured out

I'm crazy for this girl

He had been in love with her for a while now. She didn't know yet. He had planned this picnic to tell her. Goten had told him to relax, that it would be okay. Personally, Trunks didn't believe him. He was nervous. What if she laughed at him? Or worse. What if she didn't like him back?

The plan had been for everyone in his and the Son family to go but they all caught the same virus. It left him and her alone.

She was the one to hold me

The night

The sky fell down

And what was I thinking when

The world didn't end

Why didn't I know what I know now

A while ago, Trunks had had a girlfriend. It was his first. They liked each other, but what he didn't know was that she was a female player. She dumped him. That night, Pan had been the one to hug him and tell him it was going to be alright. When he didn't die from the heartbreak, he knew that she was the right one for him.

Finally, they arrived at the picnic sight. Gohan had picked it out with him three days ago. It was the spot where he had proposed to Videl. He couldn't eat, though. He was too nervous.

Right now

Face to face

All my fears

Pushed aside

And right now

I'm ready to spend the rest of my life

With you

Uh...... Pan?

Yea, Trunks?

There's something I need...... to..... tell you.

Oh my gosh! Is there a bug on me?!

He laughed. No, there isn't. What I have to tell you is..... well........ important.

She paused and put her plate down. Wiping her hands she asked solemnly, What is it?

Well..... for the longest time now....... well....... I..... uh...... this is kinda hard for me to say but........ I....... well........... He trailed off.

Pan giggled. Trunks, whatever it is you have to tell me must be important if it's got you this nervous.

Trunks took a deep breath. Well, Pan. I brought you out here to tell you that I love you. He exhaled deeply. He said it. What would she say?

She gasped. Really?! Is that what you had to tell me?! I don't believe it!

She kissed him on the cheek. Oh, no! The cheek means friendship! No! No! No! Trunks cursed silently in his head.

Trunks, I've been wanting to tell you that I liked you for like forever now!

Trunks couldn't breathe. He couldn't move, either. He couldn't believe what he had just heard. She like him, too! He pulled her close to him, and kissed her, not a kiss on the cheek, a real kiss.

Would you look at her

She looks at me

She's got me thinking about her constantly

But she don't know how I feel

And she carries on without a doubt

I wonder if she's figured out

I'm crazy for this girl
