Just a dream

Sasuke sat on the not-soft-at-all bed in his room at Orochimaru's hideout. He looked around the room for a second before laying down and staring at the ceiling. He was there, finally. After fighting Naruto, he was finally here. "So why do I feel so empty?" Sasuke wondered.

Suddenly a image of Sakura flashed through his head.

He quickly shook his head, trying to get rid of the image, but not available. "Stop! Stuff like that is just in the way!" Sasuke lectured himself silently.

With that thought he got rid the image and fell into a dreamless sleep, well back in Konoha a certain pink haired girl snuck out and stood on the path leading out of the village, desperately hoping that Sasuke would return.

First 3 years later, when he saw his teammates for the first time again, Sasuke noticed that he actually loved Sakura after getting jealous of the replacement and denying it. Sasuke also noticed that the replacement looked very much like him and that, when he imaged that Sakura might now love that guy, he grew furious.

In Konoha Sakura was sitting on the bench Sasuke left her on the night he left. "I wonder if he still remembers what I told him that night... Did he even care about a thing I said?" Sakura thought.

"How everything would have turned out if he hadn't left that night. No, even better, if Orochimaru hadn't turned up." She wondered, looking over to the gates of Konoha.

Sakura stood up and took a walk through Konoha and remembered those times that team 7 would train and she was clinging to Sasuke. She shook her head at the thought of her fan-girl self. "I can't believe I used to do that." She thought.

Sakura knew exactly that everyone, but her and Naruto had given up on Sasuke, all his fangirls, the other rookie teams and the senseis of them. About Kakashi she wasn't sure. But Sakura knew one thing for sure: She would never be able to let go like everyone else had.

In Sound Sasuke was sitting on his bed once again. "Should I or not?" He asked himself.

In Konoha Sakura was also sitting on her bed, looking out the window before looking down to the team 7 picture she was holding in her hand.

"I'll do it, for her. But before that, there is still Itachi."

"Please Sasuke, please come back. I would do anything for you... Please, just come back to us, to me.

"I just can't forget you Sasuke..."

"I really wish it were all just a bad dream," They thought at the same time.

"but you are an angel that got caught in it."
