Challenge Word: Precious
AN: Attempting to catch up on some of the words I missed during my long hiatus.
Her parents had named her Precious; too beautiful a name for someone so hateful. When anyone dared to venture too close, her malice drove them away. She reveled in the horror on their stupid faces as they fled screaming. Her power increased with each encounter. She was invincible.
Until two men came, armed with an arsenal of symbols, incense, and spells. Enraged, she unleashed her full fury. The ground roared, the walls quaked, the very air shattered. Undaunted, the men continued their assault, sapping her strength. With a final mournful wail, she felt herself ripped away, leaving only silence behind.
