Joey's Death

Tea's POV

I couldn't stop him. My beautiful Joey was too reckless. Whether it was Dark Yami, Kaiba or that horrible Akhenaton, I was too late. He had taken a massive blow. An ugly scar on his head was gushing with blood. I ran over, knowing I was too late.

" …T…Te-Tea, I'm so sorry. Take this…" He handed me a card. At first I expected it to be Red Eyes Black Dragon. But no. It was Eternal Rest. I wept, stinging his scar with my tears

"Tea… Tell Yugi… to look …after …Serenity….". I kissed him one last time, stealing the last of his breath. His pulse stopped. I closed his eyes and hugged the dead angel close. My angel, was one now.

Chazz's Death

Alexis's POV

That monster Kaiba. Chazz knew he couldn't stand up to his strength. But he didn't listen, and now, with all his strength obliviated, I ran over, screaming. He was lying there, still as stone, moaning horribly. A massive wound to his neck was bleeding so fast, he was practically dead already.

" Tell Jaden… no, give Jaden this card."

He handed me a card. No… he can't torture me like this. The Grave of Enkindling. He gave me a weak smirk.

"Marry you in heaven, my Guardian Angel…" and with that his breathing ceased, his eyes went glassy and he rested limp on the floor. I closed his eyes. I picked him up, and carried him to his future.

Crow's Death

Brandi's POV

The last Crow ever saw of Yusei, was him carrying him over to me. A huge bit of blasted D-wheel was sticking up in his abdomen.

"Too much blood. He's dead now" I thought, crying horribly over my blackbird.

"Hey… Brandi… remember me with this, will ya?" he said, handing me a trap card. Guess which one? Call of the Haunted.

" No. No one will remember you with this. You're not like that, Crow. Those markers hide a wonderful person. Don't you ever say you're like that card. I love you. I always will, even if I have to go to the depths of hell to marry you, I would."

I couldn't hold my emotions' any longer. I kissed him. He kissed back with all his strength. I held him close as the fragile shell that was Crow Hogan broke up. As his spirit floated away, like his true bird, I realized something. Like a bird, he was free.

Free as the wind.

BlackRoseAnime: I hate writing about death.

Tea: … one good thing though, it's not real.

Alexis: too right!
