He scowled, but persisted.
"To try and cross the great field without so much as a lunch! That is certainly a fool's decision."
His irritation grew stronger. He wished to just take his companion and toss her off a mountain! No, he musn't... without her, he couldn't make it anywhere!
"We should turn around while you still have enough strength to make it back to town."
Nag, nag, nah, nag, nag.
His body said, "Agree! Agree!", but his inner diva wouldn't let him.
And as he lay unmoving and in severe pain, he cursed that inner diva.
