Hooray, beginning notes xP:

Okay, just to get things straight, I will be calling the Akatsuki Leader A.L, because I'm too lazy to type out his name again.

Screw that, I'm calling him Al, okay?

Disclaimer: I do not own Deidara or Tobi (sadly), nor the Akatsuki (even more sadly), nor Naruto (even more sadly).

Now onto the fun stuff!

Oh, and, BTW, this isn't a yaoi fic. Sorry for those of you who looked at this in hope of one.

"You idiot! That's not how you mold clay!" Deidara scolded, looking at Tobi's small clay bird.

"What? Really? But, Sempai, I-" Tobi stammered.

"Tobi, do you want to know how to make my explosives or not?" Deidara asked.

"Y-yes, Sempai…"

"Good. Now, watch me do it…"

----The next week…

"Hey, Sempai! Look! Look!" Tobi said, running up to Deidara.

"What is it, Tobi?" Deidara sighed irritably.

"Look! I finally made your art!" Tobi answered excitedly, holding up his small clay bird and grinning happily from behind his mask.

"Feh. That's not my art. You need more practice. A lot more practice."

"O-…okay…"

----That weekend…

Tobi walked up to Deidara hesitantly. "S-Sempai?" he asked slowly.

"What, Tobi?" Deidara asked back.

"I-…I've been thinking, and-…well…Deidara-Sempai? Do you-…do you really ca-"

"Deidara! Tobi! Front and center!" commanded Al.

"Yes Sir?" Deidara asked, running up to the leader.

"There's a mission I'm sending your team on, Deidara…"

----Later that day, up in the tree tops of the Forest of Death…

"Come on, Tobi! Kick it into high gear! We're never gonna finish this mission if you keep lagging like that!" Deidara called back to Tobi, continuing to jumped quickly from branch to branch through the huge forest.

"Sempai! I-…I'm trying, but I can't keep up with y-…Ah!!" Tobi was cut off by his own scream as his foot landed oddly on a branch. He came down hard on the branch, and skidding to a halt near the other side of it.

Deidara didn't bother to stop to see where Tobi went. "Tobi, hurry up!"

"Sempai! I can't! I tripped and now my ankle hurts really bad!!!" Tobi pleaded painfully, hold his hurt ankle.

"Tobi, get up now!" Deidara commanded, continuing without his younger partner.

"…Yes, Sempai…" Tobi said quietly. "I guess he really doesn't care about me…"

----At the battle scene…

Tobi and Deidara stood back to back in the midst of numerous dangerous creatures that came from the Forest of Death.

"Sempai! We-We can't finish them all!" Tobi panted.

"Tobi!" Deidara said.

"Yes, Sempai?"

"Run!"

"Wha-…what?" Tobi asked, looking back at his partner and relaxing his fighting stance slightly.

"Tobi, I want you to get out of here as fast as you can! Now!" Deidara said patiently.

"…Why?"

"Because, Tobi. I don't want you to get hurt anymore."

"…" Tobi stared at him in disbelief. "…D-…Deidara-sama…?"

Deidara also relaxed his fighting stance a little, looking back at his partner with a weak smiling on his face. "Please, Tobi."

"….Deidara-sama…"

'…So you really do care…'

End Notes: Eh, too lazy to write any. Review, please, I guess?
