Breath On the Wind

Moonlight flashes in your hair, your silhouette passes through the open glade.

The tropic breeze rustles through the palms

I long to hold you in my arms

The ocean laps gently on the shore

Not so my pounding heart which thunders in my chest

A myriad stars glisten in the sky, you move away I wonder why.

The warmth has gone the sky turns black, you,ve gone away I want you back.

My love lies pounded on the reef my heart is sad broken in grief.

Demons of the night conspire to destroy the tender thoughts,

The love within is strangled as a breath caught.
