"Ne, Aomine-kun, what do you think of Akashi?" Kuroko tilted his head to the left, waiting for a reply. The tall, tanned basketballer glanced at Kuroko, astonished.

"What's with the sudden question, Tetsu?' Aomine blinked, putting an arm around Kuroko's shoulder, earning a rough shove from Kuroko. "Please don't do that, Aomine-kun. I was just curious about what you thought of Akashi, since it has been quite a while since we saw him."

Aomine shrugged and stayed silent, looking ahead.

The last time the Generation of Miracles had come together was when the Winter Cup basketball competition had just started and all the members had been summoned by Akashi. "I don't think Akashi has changed, even the slightest bit. But, the conflict with Kagami really scared me, I admit. Like who the hell would actually attempt to openly stab someone with a pair of scissors?" Aomine swallowed uncomfortably.

"Damn Shintaro, bringing a pair of scissors .." Kuroko stifled an oncoming laugh, turning away quickly.

The sky clouded rapidly, pushing the rays of the sun out of sight. Small puffs of snow started swirling down from the sky, landing gently on the heads of people passing by below. Kuroko tugged at his scarf, wrapping it around his neck and part of his face was hidden.

"I guess even Tetsu feels the chills sometimes, huh?" Aomine teased, a smirk forming on the corners of his mouth.

"Shut up, Aomine."

The two of them sauntered along the pavement as the world around them gradually became white.

Kuroko was always watching Akashi from afar, and that, Aomine knew very well. Maybe now wasn't the time to confess to Tetsu .. He sighed, reaching out his hand to Kuroko's.

Will there be a day when kuroko finally notices the overwhelming feelings Aomine has for him?

-(A/N)-:

At first. I wanted this to be about Murasakibara, but I didn't know who to pair him up with.

Maybe I shall ship him with Caramel Corn.
