Izumi reluctantly tore the covers off herself. Sitting up, she swung her feet over the edge of the bed and stood, hearing the loud 'pop' as she rolled her shoulders. Dragging her feet gloomily, she made her way to the bathroom. It was a good 10 minutes before she even began to relax in the shower. It took another 10 minutes before she got out.
Storming straight past the fridge, she flew out the door, barely stopping to lock it, she turned onto the path. Trudging up the hill towards the school, she failed to notice the blonde approaching her from behind.
Her iPod plugged into her ears, she cranked up the tune till you could hear it from a foot away. Satisfied, she let a smile make its way across her face as she continued up the hill.
Behind the school gates, she waited by the back portables that no-one seemed to visit. Ever. But it seemed someone was going to invade her usual privacy. She peered around the side of the building to see 9 guys lounging around on the ground. She gulped, and slinked off to her homeroom.
The bell rang loudly throughout the school, summoning students to home group.
Izumi took her seat at the back at the class, away from everyone else. She rested her head on her arm as she contemplated sleeping. Kakashi wouldn't be here for at least, another 10 minutes. But she didn't mind, his eye-crinkling smile always made her feel warm, she generally enjoyed his presence, too bad he was a teacher.
Too hyped to fall asleep, she pulled out a sketch book and started to draw aimlessly. She noticed someone looking over her shoulder, she kept drawing. They cleared their throat. She looked up, at a blonde male. She stared at him skeptically. He eyed her drawing,
"How'd you learn to draw like that?" she shrugged,
"Not much of a talker, eh?" she turned around and continued with her drawing.
"So I'll see you around then?" she nodded, without turning to face him. She looked up in time to see him sit down with the group of guys she had seen earlier. She gulped, as three of them turned to glare at her. Izumi decided to concentrate on her work, but his face stuck in her mind. Like glue. Something she couldn't shake, get rid of. She looked up again, and stood from her chair.
She walked right up behind him, and not caring about what happened anymore, tapped him on the shoulder. He turned with a smile on his face,
"Back so soon?" she gave a light smile back,
"My name's Izumi." She heard one of them whistle as she returned to her seat, more or less her drawing. She smiled slightly when she heard footsteps, was it him, again? She looked up expectantly, Kakashi. More than she could hope for.
"Izumi, I'd like to speak to you after class if that's alright." She frowned, "Don't worry, your not in trouble." He smiled warmly at her. She smiled back,
"Ok Kakashi." He was the only one Izumi ever really talked to, and she was the only one who called him Kakashi.
Funnily enough, home group didn't seem to drag on as it normally did. And before she knew it, Kakashi was walking towards her holding something in his hands. She smirked, what could he, possibly give her?
