If you would like to know the song they are playing, it's Freaks by: Timmy Trumpet. I don't factor in Frozen Teardrop, I act like it does not exist. This is a companion fic to Meet Me Halfway, but you do not have to read that to read this. Yes, I know it's very "When Mom's Not Home". It was the inspiration. I'm sorry I forgot to mention that in the original posting. I'm trying to get back into the creative writing sphere after spending the last fife writing academic papers. I saw the video, it did inspire this. I'm sorry if you don't find it as entertaining as the video you saw on youtube or facebook.
I apologize if I have offended anyone.

It was quiet throughout the manor, perhaps a little too quiet. Noin and Quatre were settled in the family room, enjoying a quiet cup of tea. The children were nowhere to be seen, as they were clearly off with their friends for the evening. It was just going to be a lovely, quiet night.
Neither one of them had noticed the quiet sound of music playing somewhere in the manor. Quatre lightly bounced his foot to the beat, and hummed along softly, thinking it was in his head. It was only a few moments later that the beat had dropped.
"What the hell?" Noin jumped up from her seat and took off running down the hall to the kitchen. Quatre was right on her heels. There had been no alarms to alert them of intruders. As they both ran into the kitchen they skidded to a stop. What they found was what neither one of them expected.
Sitting on the counter sat their daughter, Reia, playing her trombone. By the double oven was her best friend Christina Maxwell, using a couple of wooden spoons as drum sticks. Their son, Q, was on a keyboard, playing out more of the melody. Triton Barton stood there, singing the tune to the song they were playing.
"We got that freak flow, freak show, welcome to the circus."
"What in the name of God is going on in here?" Noin yelled. All four teenagers stopped playing their 'instruments' and looked at one another.
"RUN!" Christina yelled as she dropped her make shift drum sticks. All four kids took off out the opposite door, down the hall, and out the side door.
Quatre looked toward Noin for a moment. He smiled as he saw her looking right back at him. He took her hand in his and pulled her down the corridor, towards the stair that led to their room.
"If they wanted to play music, they could have just gone to the music room."
