Danny
He'd never not been a con man. As a kid, he'd talked other kids into giving him lunch money, or lending him a bike, or whatever else he wanted. As he'd gotten older, the schemes had gotten bigger. Middle school, he didn't do a bit of work for himself, and still managed to get straight A's thanks to a network of people he'd charmed or done small favors for. He'd pickpocketed a bit, but mostly he connived and schemed and charmed and smiled.
Senior year of high school was his first "big" con. A bunch of meatheads had been tormenting one of his paper-writers for weeks. With the kid's help, he'd orchestrated enough bad grades per semester to disqualify them from fall sports, as well as ensuring they always managed to lose their lunch money for a month straight. When it came time for spring sports eligibility, he stopped the bad grades and forged letters from the athletic department. Discretely, of course. His paper-writer was never bothered again, and the two of them had a steady stream of income from the "pay-to-play" fees that were instituted for students who had just returned from academic probation.
He knew he wasn't going to be going the college route. So when he met Reuben and Saul while trying his luck in the casinos and skills on the streets of Vegas, it was a perfect fit. They did, after all, make him an offer he couldn't refuse.
