There is a document hidden deep beneath the sea that tells of a great evil that once inhabited this Earth. For centuries this evil has been forgotten, lost to the ages as civilization moved on and up. But those who experienced it long ago would tell of its horror if they were here now. Because this was a truly terrible evil.
It was a demon of enormous size, whose sole purpose was to devour all of humanity, and its rampage extended across the entire globe. Two-hundred feet tall. Enormous fangs. A reptilian tail. Thunderous stomping. It waded through oceans like they were swimming pools, and it swallowed up men like they were crackers. Nothing could stop it.
An island off the coast of Spain, called Harwall, was demolished and turned to sand in the creature's rampage. Its inhabitants were swallowed up like plankton, and the creature moved on without hesitation or remorse. That is just one of the tragic stories detailed in the old document, meant to impress upon the world the importance of remembering the creature's reign of terror.
It might be reasonable to assume that Japan's legend of Godzilla is based off this creature. But like all stories that are repeated over many years, Godzilla has exaggerated some facts, and completely forgotten others. For Godzilla is pure reptile, a huge lizard, a dragon of sorts. But this creature was not. This creature was part-reptile, part-bear, part-falcon, part-shark, and worst of all, part-human.
This creature was called the Pentakara. And it could not be killed.
With the planet on the demolition block, the document tells of twelve knights that banded together to banish this demon. The twelve knights, known as the Knights of Lightwall, combined their strength to push the demon out of their world...and into the distant future. Through this act, the knights hoped to give the world enough time to recover and invent a weapon powerful enough to destroy the demon. But like so often happens over time, people soon forgot, and moved on, leaving the Pentakara a distant memory in the minds of people everywhere.
That is, until now.
This is the story of the return of the Knights of Lightwall, as they prepare for the Pentakara's return.
