The Cold That Brings Us Together

As Eiri Yuki opened the door to his apartment after a long day of having a meeting with his editor, a war cry came from the living room. A pink-haired brat came speeding down the hallway, tackling the novelist.

"What the hell!" Yuki spat, standing up.

His attacker also got up, and, in response, just shivered.

Yuki rolled his eyes. "Are you cold or something?"

The lead singer of the band Bad Luck nodded slowly.

"Then why don't you go turn the heat up? It's not that hard," Yuki scoffed.

"But Yukiii, I don't WANT to turn the heat up!" A mischievous glint in Shuichi's eyes told Yuki that he was up to something.

"…What are you planning?" Yuki asked, eyeing him suspiciously.

"Nothing," Shuichi replied with an innocent blush.

Yuki didn't like the look in his lover's eye. He was DEFINITELY up to something. And Yuki was going to find out WHAT. He closed the door behind him, and made his way to the kitchen. Hmm. Nothing out of the ordinary HERE. He checked their room. He checked almost every room in the 'house'. Except one. The bathroom. Eiri was just about to give up and assume that Shuichi really wasn't up to anything this time, when he remembered. He remembered to check the one last place that nobody would even think of checking…The bathroom.

He stepped in. Nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary…Wait. Why were there heart-shaped ribbons everywhere? Why were there signs that read; 'Happy Valentines Day' and 'Please warm me up'? And…Strangest of all…Why were there red, heart-shaped SOAPS in the soap container? Even the towels were red and pink… Had Shuichi done all of this while he was out?

He heard light footsteps behind him. He whipped around, to find Shuichi.

"Well, happy Valentines day, Yuki," the singer smiled, "and I'm still cold…"

That was it. Shu's bothering to 'warm him up' was driving Eiri up a fucking wall. If that's what Shuichi wanted, then that's what he'll goddamn get.

"You know what, fine. Just strip, you damn brat," Yuki glared.

Shuichi stood there for a moment, blinking.

"WILL YOU JUST GET IN THE FREAKING TUB SO I CAN 'WARM YOU UP'!" Eiri exploded. He was NOT a patient man. Never in a million years.

Shuichi flinched, and nodded, happily stripping. He didn't care if Yuki yelled at him, he was getting what he wanted so all was well. Yuki had already started the water, and little Shu ran up behind him and gave him a big hug.

"Thank you, for finally agreeing to warm me up," Shuichi whispered, snuggling into Yuki's still-covered back.

"Yeah, well, you wouldn't shut your damn mouth so I had to do it for you. And who's going to take all of these ridiculous decorations down? You are, so when we're done, you're cleaning this up. Period," Yuki shrugged.

"I don't care, I've got you now…" The vocalist fluffed.

Yuki rolled his eyes. Underneath his angered attitude, he was sure, that they were going to have a great Valentine's Day.
