James Potter died he looked into Voldemort's eyes and all he could think was that he couldn't be there Harry who would surely be dead in minutes if not seconds.
Lily Potter screamed dragging her last breath out for as long as possible all she could do was hope that her sacrifice would save her baby boy. She left that world and joined her husband on the other side.
Sirius locked eyes with Harry and mouthed a silent godbye, he knew now that he could never be there for Harry just as James couldn't be there all those years ago and now Harry was going into the hardest part in his life and Sirius wouldn't be there for it.
Peter haad realised the wrong in his ways but it was too late, looking into Harry's eyes he'd realised how many of his friends lives he'd ruined and felt he'd deserved this death instead of Harry whose life he'd already ruined enough.
Lupin held hands wit his beautiful it was his time, he'd only wished he could've been there for Harry more and for his own son, but Harry would survive and take care of Teddy, he knew Harry was going into what would be th hardest part of the war but he could only hope that Harry did what was right for it was the only way to win the war.
So all the Marauders joined each other once more death being an inevitable part of life and for once they were truly happy.
