Yes, I know I'm already working on road trip, but I've decided to delete it off of fan fiction because I have extreme writers block and I need to write at least 5 more chapters so I can be slightly ahead of myself. I've decided I will also write a few very short stories to practice getting out what I need to with the fewest words possible (less than 800 hopefully). This is my first short story. I will try to do this every day for 30 minutes and when the time is up, I'm done. Let's see how this goes.

Note: I haven't read many books from the expanded universe so this is how I think Han and Leia should get engaged.

They had been on Endor for 2 weeks now. The newly formed Republic was off to a good start. Everyone was trying their best to help, even Han.

"Hey Leia, where should I put these papers?" Han was helping her clean off her desk that was drowning in papers while she cleaned the closet from even more papers and files.

"It depends, what are they?"

"Uhh….they look like the old death star plans?"

"Save them, put them on my bed."

"Why would you want to save the blue prints to the thing that can destroy a planet?"

"So I can burn them,"

"Oh, makes sense." The conversation wasn't going to go any farther. Han checked his back pocket to check if the little box was there. "Hey, do you want to take a break? I mean, we've been cleaning forever!"

"It's been 15 minutes Han." She didn't look amused.

"Well, were going to take a break now." He walked towards her and picked her up. Leia squirmed uncontrollably and finally gave up.

"Let me down!" Her scream was mixed with laughter.

"We'll be there in just a minute!"

"Where Han?" She seemed confused

"You'll know when we get there!" He honestly didn't know where he was taking her.

Finally he set her down. She looked around, and realized she had no clue where she was. "Where are we? We're lost Han! I thought you knew where you were going."

She was unaware of Han kneeling behind her. "Leia?" he softly asked.

"Yes?" she spun around. Her eyes softened and her jaw dropped.

"4 years ago Luke convinced me to help me save you, and I guess a Jedi knows best. I haven't been with anyone because I was waiting for you, and I was just wondering if after me waiting 4 years, if you would, marry me." He could see the tears in her eyes.

"Yes," she quietly whispered.

"What?" Han was as excited as he would ever be

"Yes," She said louder this time. "Yes!" She jumped into his arms, crying with joy. He spun her around while he slid the ring on her small finger. She looked up to see his Hazel eyes and smiled. "We need to tell Luke!" and with that she was off running to tell her older brother.

"Wait!" Han yelled, "Wait for me! I want to see his reaction!"

I did it! The next short story might be Luke finding out….I don't know….im just excited that I did that in less than a half an hour and in under 500 words (not including the beginning and this end part. Please R&R!
