There was an additional challenge this week to write a tag to a Jeremy Carver episode. I picked A Very Supernatural Christmas because I love that ep to death.

Sam had been afraid on that long ago Christmas, but Dean had done his best to make everything seem okay. Now it's Dean's who's terrified- desperate for comfort and Sam's not going to let him down.
Sam stores up the little smile on his brother's face; the genuine happiness in his eyes as he opens his gifts. Next year, when Dean's gone, they're all he'll have left.
