Into the Window: Part Two, A Look Back

Into the Window: Part Two, A Look Back

A/N: Sorry guys, this part should have come first.

As Matt walked down the hall of his school, he felt himself being watched.

It was a few minutes before he located the source; three guys, all two grades higher than himself.

He looked at them for a moment, they kept they're stares although they became glares as Matt narrowed his eyebrows in annoyance. He hated it when people looked at him as if he was a disease.

The largest boy, Tony, slowly lifted his left hand and pointed to the wrist of his right.

Matt stepped back in surprise and his hand flew to his wrist.

Tony smirked and walked up to him.

"Behind the bike shed, after school. You'd better be there or I'll tell," he said threateningly.

Matt wasn't the only one who heard this threat though, Tai happened to have just exited the boy's room in time to hear Tony's remark.

After School

Tai watched as Matt slowly walked towards the bike shed.

He knew that there was no way to stop him.

Matt was walking as slowly as he could. How could Tony know about my wrist? he asked himself.

He kept his head down but as he walked around to where Tony, Dan and Mark were, he raised it.

"What do you want?" he asked.

Tony stepped forward, "Take off your right glove," he commanded.

Matt hesitated, then slowly toke off the glove.

Tony grabbed his wrist and looked at it closely.

"I told you guys!" he said triumphantly, "He's a psycho, a freak, a crazy."

With a sudden movement, Tony twisted Matts wrist.

Matt gave a cry of pain and fell to the ground.

He repeated his first question, "What do you want?"

Tony thrust three paper bags into Matts hands, "Give these to the addresses on the front. They know how much to pay."

"What are they?" asked Matt.

"Drugs," answered Tony, "You'd better sell them or we'll tell everyone about your wrist, and you'd better not tell anyone or we'll hunt you down for the rest of our lives!"

The two other guys, Dan and Mark, nodded.

Matt looked at the bags, then at his wrist.

He nodded.

Tony, Dan and Mark left, throwing Matt triumphant smirks.

Matt sighed, still holding his twisted wrist.

"Matt?"

Matt jumped, turned and saw Tai.

"Oh, hi Tai," he said unemotionally.

"Matt, you don't have to listen to Tony," said Tai.

Matt glanced down at his wrist, Tai followed his gaze.

"That's what Tony's blackmailing you with, isn't it? What is on your wrist?"

Matt hesitated, then removed his hand from his wrist to reveal a large scar.

"That's it?" asked Tai, "A scar?"

"Yes a scar," said Matt, almost angrily, "If dad knew I did that he'd go crazy. He'd probably send me to a mental institute. Everyone will think I'm a psycho or something."

"You did that to yourself? But why?" asked Tai, shocked. Why would Matt do something like that?

"I don't even know," sighed Matt, "Everything's so confusing. Look Tai, can we forget this talk ever happened? Lets talk about something else, like the party next week. Are you going?"

End.

A/N: Well, that's why Matt started selling the drugs for all you people who wanted to know.

I hope it answers all your questions and doesn't bring up any more (Like, why did Matt slit his wrist? I don't know, OK?).

N E way, this fic is dedicated to Pikachumaniac who helped me out when I had major Writers Block and continued my fic, The Matt Series. Read It! And review it! It's such a good fic and she's such a good writer.
