Jade closed her eyes and enjoyed the feel of the wind on her face. After a long day at school and a study session with Beck, Jade was ready to just take a hot shower and go to bed. Luckily Beck was driving her home and she would be able to do that in just a few minutes.

We're here!" Beck said as he turned off the car engine. Jade opened her eyes and then frowned.

"Beck this isn't my house." Jade pointed out. "This is a coffee shop."

"I know." Beck smiled mischievously.

"Why are we here?" Jade demanded. "I thought you were taking me home."

"I wanted it to be a surprise." Beck shrugged.

"You know I hate surprises." Jade grumbled. She knew she was sounding cross but she couldn't help it. The whole drama with Robbie and his Robarazzi scheme was really starting to get to her.

"I thought we could grab a cup of coffee and just talk for a while." Beck said. "It's been a while since we've done that." Gently he brushed a strand of hair away from Jade's face.

"You could have at least asked me!" Jade snapped, swatting his hand away.

"Well sorry for wanting to do something nice!" Beck snapped back.

"It's not about wanting to be nice," Jade said. "It's about letting me have a say in this relationship!"

"Well do you want to get some coffee then?" Beck asked.

"Yes!" Jade said.

"Then why are we having this conversation?" Beck said, still shouting but smiling at the same time.

"I don't know!" Jade yelled back before dissolving into giggles. Beck reached over and unbuckled Jade's seat belt.

"Come on let's just go." He said. "It'll be fun."

"But I didn't shower this morning and I had tuna fish for lunch…" Jade started. Then she stopped. For some weird reason she felt as if someone was watching her every move. A blinking red light caught the corner of her eye. Jade stifled an ear piercing scream.

"Hey!" she exclaimed "There's a guy in the backseat!"

"Hey what are you doing?" Beck shouted at the mysterious guy in his back seat with a video camera. "Get out of my car!" After some shouting and yelling the guy finally left.

"What a creep!" Jade spat after the guy was out of sight.

"Why do I have a feeling that Robbie is behind this?" Beck muttered, running his hand through his hair.

"And why do I have a feeling that this is going to end up on the internet in a matter of minutes?" Jade groaned. The thought of her conversation with Beck displayed online for the world to see made her stomach flip. Beck responded with a half hearted chuckle.

Beck and Jade sat in silence. Jade thought about the fact that if she had been with anyone else she would have been compelled to say something, anything, to break the awkward silence, but with Beck it wasn't necessary. It was as if he could tell what she was thinking without her even having to say a word, and she could do the same for him."

"Do you want to get some coffee?" Beck finally said.

"I would love to." Jade replied opening her car door. With that Beck and Jade walked hand in hand into the coffee shop.
