The shock in the news
Hannah Burley was peacefully having breakfast in the dinner in Washington Dc. She went there with hopes of meeting her ex boyfriend FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth. She just returned for a two year assignment on Iraq and Afghanistan, and she missed him terrible. She regretted having turned down his marriage proposal, but as she already told him, she could see that he needed sometime to come over the rejection, but she thought once this time were over, they could make it work. Specially when she had changed, now she was ready to marry him, so here she was waiting for him to appear so she could talk to him.
Sure enough she saw him stepping into the dinner about 5 minutes later, but what she saw, let her shocked. It was not the fact that, even on a Saturday morning he was accompanied by his partner Forensic Anthropologist DR. Temperance Brennan. It was the fact that they were not alone; Temperance was pushing a baby carrier which was occupied by the most gorgeous baby girl she had ever seen
She decided to go greet them, well mainly him.
Seeley, she called nervously, hearing his name, Booth turned to where the familiar voice came
Hannah, It's been a long time, how have you been?
We'll, it could be better, listen, can we talk in private?
We'll, really not, I'm spending this wonderful Saturday morning with my daughter and fiancée.
Wait a minute; this girl is your daughter, together? And you're engaged?
Yes Hannah, we are together, we have this amazing daughter and we are getting married
But you can't, I love you, and you loved me, you asked me to marry you
And you turned me down
Yeah but, I wasn't ready, I thought that once some time passed we could make it work again, I'm ready now, we were so good together.
Look Hannah, now I know the truth, I never really loved you. When I met you, I was hurt, and you helped me but I got the woman I really loved all this time so I'm sorry but no, thank you. I'm gonna ask you to leave us alone
Shocked Hannah paid what she had ordered and left the dinner, while inside with Booth and Brennan
Bones, are you ok?
No, Booth I'm not ok
Bones listen, I understand that what Hannah said may have upset you, but listen to me, and listen good. I love you, I love Christine, and we are getting married next month, and no one can do anything about it, ok? I love you, Bones. Everything is gonna be ok.
