"W-where am I?" The girl looked around, looking down to see a gem in her hand. She opened her hand wider and tried to take it out. It was a black gemstone, showing her reflection. She had pale skin, and dark black hair.
"Black Sapphire... welcome to Earth!" I looked up to see a boy, a little bit shorter than me standing there. He had black curly hair, a red t-shirt with a yellow star on it. I looked behind him, to see a small house built into the side of a cliff. "I'm Steven! Pearl says you're Black Sapphire. Heyyy... you look a lot like Sapphire! Just a little darker.."
I was very confused, but this boy looked nice, and I remembered having a friend named Pearl a long time ago on Homeworld. I guess my memories will come back to me as I go along.
Steven led me into the cliff house, where I saw a blue-clad girl sitting with a very short green girl. The little one... Peridot? And the blue one... Lapis Lazuli. And then I saw Pearl.
"Pearl!" I yelled and ran up to her. "Don't you remember me? We fought together! On Homeworld!" I was so happy to see someone I recognized among the others. She looked at me strangely, then backed up a bit.
"Um, no, not really..." Pearl looked more confused than I was, then I saw two others running up the beach. One was a very, VERY short Amethyst. She must be defective... Then the other, much taller than the others, was obviously a fusion, but of what two gems?
"Oh hoho! A new gem!" The Amethyst jumped around, looking at me and asking many questions.
"Amethyst, that's enough. She looks ne-" The fusion was talking, but Amethyst interjected.
"You're the one that fused with Rose during the war!" Amethys said, and everything came back to me.
