This is my first story! I'm so excited!

Please know that I don't take any credit for the characters. The plot however is completely mine, just a little something I cooked with help from my muse :)

Enjoy...

Decisions, Decisions…

I knew it. It was settled. I had finally made my decision. My choice would have serious consequences not just for me but for all parts involved. Before I could tell my family though, there was one person who needed… No who deserved to be the first to know.

I rushed to my car and fumbled with the key in the ignition. I laughed nervously as I dropped them for the second time. "Okay Sarah, get a hold on yourself." I told myself aloud finally turning the key. The car roared to life with a loud bang. I had to have someone to check it. I hadn't even made it out of the driveway before the car stopped with an even louder bang. After I had found an outlet for my annoyance kicking the tire, I grabbed my purse from the glove compartment and ran towards the nearest bus station. I barely made it and when the doors closed behind me, I couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. It was getting dark. Grey clouds filled the sky.

The reason why it had been such a long and difficult process to finally make up my mind was that I knew, my family would be a problem. They would get used to the idea, I was sure of that, but it would take time that I was also sure of.

Heavy rain blocked my view. The world outside was swallowed in a grayish darkness despite the fact that it was only noon. When the bus stopped the thunder was reduced to a rumbling in the distance and the rain had turned to a light drizzle. I got out with a ticklish felling in my stomach. I stood outside his current residence and due to the weather I saw a lit window on the third floor. How he of all people managed to live in such a small apartment without whining, I didn't know yet he had for the past month. I took the stairs to steps at a time and soon ended up in front of his door. I took a deep breath, and grasped the doorknob before I had the time to get second thoughts. By the sound of the closing door behind me he entered the hall. "Sarah…" he stated. A moment we just stood and looked at each other his face unreadable. At last I couldn't stand it any longer. "Yes," I whispered and then louder: "Yes of course I want to marry you!" I only saw a brief flash of his face lit in a smile of pure happiness before I dizzily threw myself into Jareth's waiting arms. Just then the sun broke through the clouds.

So there you have it.

Please take the time to let me know what you think..
