Another Second Coming
This is my version of the beginning of The second coming.
If you don't like Claire/Peter then don't read.
Peter was running, as fast as he could to get away from her. She had changed and he had to stop it from happening. He shut the door behind him, and heard the gun click behind him, turning around he saw her.
"Claire."
"Peter."
"I can change all this Claire. It doesn't have to be this way."
"No, you can't change this, this is the way it was supposed to happen. You just haven't realized it yet."
She swallowed hard. She should just shoot him and get it over with.
"Claire, do you really want to shoot me?" Peter asked.
He walked forward until the gun was right up against his chest, in front of his heart.
"Stop, Shut Up." She yelled at him, tears brimming in her eyes.
How was she supposed to kill him now? She should have brought backup.
"Would you really kill me Claire?" A tear slipped down her cheek.
Peter reached forward and wiped it off. He kept his fingers there, stroking her face and then cupping her cheek in his large hand. She leaned into him.
"You're only working for him because I left you. I didn't want to leave you babe."
"Didn't you? You said."
"I lied." Peter said interrupting her. "We shouldn't be together, but that doesn't mean that my feelings change. I left you because it was wrong to want you like that."
She uncocked the gun and put it on the floor.
"Did you ever think that maybe I loved you back?"
Peter shoved her up against the wall and kissed her. Softly at first and then roughly with abandon. Claire opened her mouth and he massaged her tongue with his.
They pulled away to breathe.
"If I go back Claire I can make everything better. Do you trust me?"
"Yes, I trust you."
"I love you Claire."
"I love you too, Peter."
He unzipped her shirt, and pulled off his. They pulled off pieces of clothing slowly. Kissing and touching until he slid inside her.
When they were done, he got up and dressed. He stroked her face.
"I love you, but when I see you again we will be different people. I will still love you but our circumstance will be different. I just want to say before I go that I loved you since I saved your life at Homecoming."
"I loved you since I saw you in the hallway. You were always my hero. No matter what changes, I will still love you Peter."
He walked away and then gave her a salute and then using Hiro's power he went back in time.
Claire sat on the floor naked and alone, hoping that Peter would save her world.
The End
Did anyone else notice that in season 2 we don't see Claire finding out that Peter is alive. We see him alive, but she doesn't show that she found out he was alive. Then they started season 3 and she calls him on his cell phone when she hears that Nathan had been shot. Then when she sees Peter, it's actually future Peter who saved her from the train. The last time she truly saw Peter was right before he exploded, and then months later she meets back up with him when he is thrown out the window at Pinehearst.
