a/n: Hey guys! I would really love it if you could review this story. Reviews = inspiration.

Alicia unlocked her phone and checked her messages. A laugh erupted out of her mouth and she couldn't help but giggle. It was a picture of Mike's tongue trying to reach his mouth. She had no idea why he always chose her to send his stupid messages to. But she couldn't help but enjoy these funny messages and somewhat cherished them. She put her phone back on the counter and returned to her relaxing in her tub. She tried to relax and allow some of the tension she usually felt ease but it just seemed as nothing worked. She stepped out, not before finishing her glass of red wine and dried herself with a fluffy white towel. She tied it at her waist and jumped on her bed, loving the resiliency of the queen sized bed.

An empty bed it was.

She sighed as she felt lonely, tired and filled with anxiety. Maybe what her sister said was true. She would die as an old woman with a bunch of cats. Even though it was a joke, it still got to her. It didn't leave her mind since she talked to Christina two days ago. The thing was Alicia wasn't really interested in anyone at the moment. Sure, the men she worked with were good-looking and could grace the cover of Vogue if they wanted to, but inside they were just a whole bunch of dumbasses looking for one thing.

A woman to cuddle with at night and to boot in he morning.

Alicia, for one, wouldn't stand to be somebody's fuck buddy. She was better than that. She was in serious need of a serious relationship where feelings were shared, 'I love yous' were said before going to sleep and that no secrets were hidden from one another. Those type of relationships were too good to be true and the only man like that out there would have to be a programmed robot. Her last relationship lasted for about six months and at the end of it she was left in tears and no fond memories.

She heard her Blackberry ring and for a second, she contemplated not answering it and calling it a good night.

The best got to her as she quickly scurried to pick up without looking at the caller ID and said, "Hello?"

"Hey yourself." She caught the person's grin behind the phone and couldn't but smile as well.

"Matt, how are you?" She just wish she could hug her friend of five years, Matthew Korklan who had left the WWE a few years ago.

"I'm fine, but I'm worried about you, actually. That's why I called. We haven't talked in the last month. What's up with that?"

She had no response. She couldn't say she was too busy, she had two weeks to herself. There was really nothing to excuse herself, but she had grown distant from those around her in general. Alicia didn't really know why and could feel her self grow depressed.

"Hello?" Matt's voice came through her ears again.

"Yeah, I"m sorry. I know I haven't been a really good friend lately but I just needed some time to clear my head. Congrats to you and Liz, though. I'm really happy for you and she seems like the sweetest girl ever. Don't mess up," Alicia warned as Matt had a record track of relationships.

"I get it, it's okay. I just wanted to know how you were doing. I miss you. And I promise I won't mess up, I love her."

"I miss you too. I'm always a phone call away, Matt, you know that. That's good. So I'll talk to you later. Love you," She said absentminded.

"Yeah. Love you, too," She waited for him to hang up and that annoying phone click.

Loneliness was creeping inside her and she couldn't help but feel it the most now.
