Happy Thanksgiving my babies. Now for a Thanksgiving story on DaveKat!

"Babe. Rose invited us to her Thanksgiving party. Her, Kanaya, John, Vriska, Jade, Tavros, Dirk, Roxy, and me and you if you wanna come." Dave said to Karkat while sitting on the couch one night.

"I dont know. I men Kanaya and Rose will be there to make sure you dont do anything stupid. So yeah, sure i'll come." Karkat answered snuggling up to his matesprit.

"I love you Karkles."

"Mhmm. L'v you to Str'er." He replied hiding his blushing face in Daves shirt.

"Hon. I cant hear you."

Karkat removed his face from his shirt before saying, "I love you too stupid."

"Thats my baby."

-2 days later-

"ARE YOU READY TO GO YET?" Dave called up the stairs. He was always quick getting dressed but Karkat on the other hand took a little bit.

"Yeah! I'll be down in a second. Somebody hid my shoes!" Karkat hollered back.

Dave chuckled. He hid them inside the car. "Babe. There in the car."

"Its cold! I cant walk out there without shoes."

"Yeah I know. I can carry you. You only weigh like 40 pounds."

"Ugh. Strider." He showed himself at the top of the stairs and came down the stairs before jumping on Daves turned back. "Come on. Lets go. Mush my servent mush."

He laughed. "Seriously dude?"

"Yes. Now go!" He pointed at the door.

"Yes ma'am. I mean sir. Oh wait no I don't." He went to the door going through it ducking so Karkat wouldnt hit his head then once out locked it behind him.

"I can believe you said that. I'm a male nooksucker!" He hit him in the head.

Dave laughed again before taking Karkat off his back and puttting him in the car. He buckled him in the passengers seat while he got his shoes on. Then Dave went around the car to get into the drivers seat and they drove to Rose's. They got out and walked into and were greeted by their friends. After a while dinner was ready and Kanaya and Rose asked everyone to please take a seat. Everyone took their seats and took each others hand. Dave started a prayer...of sorts.

"Dear Heavenly Father of all the gays and Jade, Tavros, John, and Vriska. We look to you to thank you for this meal. It looks pretty friken awesome so thanks. I also wanna say thnks for my boyfriend her and my sister and her girl friend. For my brother and his friend Roxy. And I wanna thank you for my best bro John and his girlfriend Vriska. And I wanna give thanks to everyone that I mighta forgot in tis prayer thing. I suck ass at this so forgive me for that. And I wanna give thanks for my life and everyone that is here today. Thank you Lord of all Gays and the God that those other four non-gays celebrate. Amen bro!" He ended the prayer and everyone let go of each others hands and clapped as he stood and bowed. "I've been practing that since Rose gave me permission to say it."

Karkat pulled him down to his seat and they all ate the food that was passed out by their two female hosts. After dinner they all hung out in the living room. After a while it got dark and Dave and Karkat said their goobyes and left. They got into the truck and buckled up before Dave got Karkats attention.

"Babe. What are you thankfull for?" He asked him while taking off his shades to let Karkat see his crimson eyes.

"Well, for my frends. My life...I-I'm thankful for you. I really love you so yeah. Eheheh. Um, What are you thankfull for?" He chuckled nervously.

"I love you too. And i'm thankful for you. And John. And Rose. And Dirk and Jade and Roxy and everyone. Mostly you though. I'm very thankful for you."

"Dave. Kiss me."

"What?"

"Kiss me."

"Uh, okay" He leaned in and kissed him pulling him closer than before. Karkat wrapped his arms loosely around his shoulders kissing back. They pulled back after what seemed like forever.

"I love you Dave. Happy Thanksgiving."

"I love you too. And Happy Thanksgiving."
