Don't own Glee at all.

This was based off how several people on tumblr said that Blaine's confession was really random. Enjoy this little drabble.

Blaine had pondered for a while about how to tell Kurt his feelings. While "you move me" had been his homage to "as you wish" from The Princess Bride (one of his favorite movies), but he had never truly told Kurt he loved him. He contemplated many different ways to say those important three words. He fantasized about romantic dinners or moonlit walks, things that would fit Kurt's idea of old-time romance. Blaine contemplated big, loud exclamations of love though song. He would enjoy performing something for Kurt, but he knew from previous experience that that could end in failure. Blaine almost blurted it out when Kurt told him they could skip prom for a movie, but he chickened out at the last moment. Though, he supposed that "I'm crazy about you" was getting closer. Blaine tried to set a personal deadline to tell Kurt about his love for him, before New Directions left for nationals; but, that deadline came and went. Blaine wanted the moment to be perfect and the timing exceptional. The time never seemed right or the venue romantic enough. It wasn't until New Directions return to Lima and their date at The Lima Bean the following day, that Blaine realized something. As he listened to Kurt tell him about their lost at nationals, Santana's freak out, and their quite ride home, Blaine understood he was over thinking everything. What he and Kurt have is real and true, and his declaration of love needs to be the same. He watched Kurt gush about his first plane ride, his "Breakfast at Tiffany's", and his performance on the Wicked stage, not really caring about the loss at nationals. Blaine was speaking the words before he comprehend he was talking. "I love you." Kurt paused, swallowing his latte, before responding "I love you too", though his voice failed at the beginning. Blaine just smiled. Sometimes he complicated things that where so simple.
