Hermione slammed the door shut not caring if she woke Fred up. It would do her some good, she could take her anger out on him.
"Why does he have to be so bloody infuriating?" she exclaimed. She threw her bag on the floor and her books tumbled out, followed by parchment, quills, and ink. She left it there. She was too angry to care.
She heard Fred came down the stairs and grabbed a vase off of a table. She threw it when his face came into view. He ducked, the vase just barely missing him.
"Granger," he started. She threw a book at him. He dove for cover behind the sofa. "What is wrong with you, woman?"
Fred peeked over the couch from his spot on the floor. He saw Hermione with her wand out, pointing at the vase she threw. He thought she was going to fix it, but she did the opposite. She blasted it into pieces so small, there was no way you could even think about fixing it, and set it on fire.
"What did it ever do to you?" he asked, coming out from his hiding place. Hermione whirled toward him, wand ready to do whatever she wanted. Fred held up his hands in surrender. "What did I ever do to you?"
Hermione sighed angrily and collapsed in a chair. He took a seat on the floor in front of her.
"It's your idiot brother, Ronald," she snarled.
Fred sighed. "What did he do this time?" he asked, running a hand through his messy red hair.
"He said I was 'fraternizing with the enemy' who was Draco Malfoy," Hermione growled.
"Why were you talking to him?" Fred asked.
"Don't tell me you're on his side!" Hermione exclaimed, her eyes flashing.
Fred raised his hands in surrender again, "No, I'm on your side. I'm just curious."
"We were talking about politics. That was it! Malfoy isn't the same person he was in school."
"How is that fraternizing with the enemy?" Fred wondered, confused. Hermione shrugged.
"What did you do to him?" Fred asked.
"I hexed him. He won't be walking for a month or two," Hermione said, giggling at the thought.
"Okay, seriously. What did the vase do to you?" Fred asked. Hermione laughed again.
