Here is a sneak peak into a story I like to call 'The Fourteenth's Room.' However, the idea isn't complete and I need a beta to help finish it. If you like this intro and want to help write the rest, send me a PM and I'll gladly hear any ideas you may have.
I sat in silence in the dark room wondering only one thing, how the hell was I going to get out of here. I'd inadvertently locked myself in this rather uninviting place. I had been in darkness for a long time before this appeared. I knew once it happened that my plan was finally in place. I could hear his voice in my ear whispering ever so slightly, "It's been twenty years. I hope you're ready to stretch your wings again. Just keep in mind that you are now an exorcist." The words continued ringing through my head, even fifteen years later as my charge sat in wait for his sentence to be passed down.
Never before had I dreamed I'd choose an exorcist to be my next host. I could only imagine the boy's life was miserable after what I'd done to him, but at least he was alive, and that was all I needed.
My powers were growing and I knew it was a matter of time before I could gain complete control. The child's mind was strong, though, and it took destruction by Innocence for me to break through. My plan began with my own death, one I knew was coming and one I knew would put the works in gear for my future as a Noah. My ideas churned in the dark and lonely room. I missed my room in the Ark. The light was invigorating and my piano was the source of my power.
The Innocence had gotten stronger and it threatened to push me out altogether. The only thing keeping me there was my ability to shut everything out. My room was my own. I'd pulled the boy in after the artificial exorcist nearly killed him and finally introduced myself face to face instead of taking the form of that black blob in the mirrors. I needed him to know who I was, because if the Earl got ahold of him, it was going to be up to me to fight him off.
Once again, my plan was interfered with when that blasted Apocryphos appeared. I never thought I'd see that. Seeing the Heart's protector was a very exciting time for the Noah, and the two inside the cell were no exception. Rhode I recognized, but the other one I didn't. My Noah memories showed me that he was Joyd, the Noah of Pleasure. So he was Matteo's replacement. This was rather interesting. He had caused me some problems before and I didn't intend on allowing him to do it again.
